It was a pretty good stay. Most of the issues I were related to the hotel itself, but the guests in the neighboring rooms. A dog peed on the carpet in the hallway and the owner pretty much blocked the hall with her luggage cart and just stood there shocked and then the next room on then other side of the wall was smoking POT and you could smell it and the next day it was an old couple with the TV really, then a baby screaming. So wish the hotel had thicker walls. There was a kid across from me playing with their door. Good thing I was out of my room most of the time but when I wanted to sleep there was always noise and thought next time I will just sleep on my friends coach and save the money. Overall the hotel was really nice, clean, and friendly.

The staff at the Holiday Inn in Salem provide Excellent customer service. Every request was met immediately. Very pleasant stay’

Nice place, clean and quiet and I was able to get a good rest after 12 hours of driving. The staff was friendly and courteous and I’ll definitely be staying there again.

Our room was clean and fresh smelling, the front desk attendant was very friendly and helpful.

The entire hotel smelled like cigarette smoke and fish, including our room. Besides the smell, the room itself was fine. Customer service was sub-par, and the street and parking lot of the hotel were overrun with transients. We likely won’t be staying again.

Absolutely amazing executive suites! Pool has private times and that makes the amazing stay, even better! The restaurant has limited options, however all the food is great! Pick here and you won't be disappointed!

Overall it was good. The room was supposed to be a non-smoking room, and smelled horrible of cigarette smoke. Very gross.
