My 13 year old daughter and I stayed here in September 2021. The breakfast was great start in a classic designed loft on the top floor. It rained one morning and it felt like I was cast into a a French film. They say Stendhal the popular 1900 century French writer lived here. The service was excellent! Reception, breakfast and housekeeping. We had been traveling so i had laundry done. The room was lovely and we had a street view on the 4th floor. If you want silence ask for a different room but if you like the city sounds and distant chatter from a lovely French café called Flotte's across the way on Rue Camdon, you will love your stay here! Outfitted with French windows and all things french. Your experience doesn't have to be all high end shopping and souvenir stores over here. Very safe and heavy police presence makes for late night walking down the Champs Elysees possible and a walk back home for the night. . Air conditioning, crisp white sheets, good coffee in the room yes! Our visit to the Louvre and Marais district for the best crepes and croissants couldn't have been easier from this point. I actually don't usually stay in the same place, but would feel really comfortable staying here again and would make it my central landing spot.
