馬萊酒店 - 新奥爾良

I love the location. Front desk personnel was amazing. The floor in my room made noise everytime I walked. Room was much smaller than I expected for the price. It was several lamps, room still seemed dark. Overall I was satisfied because the location was great for me and the hotel is nice. I love the fact that you must have a key card for entry to the hotel after 11pm and you must have a key card to access the elevator and stairway. Hotel had pool, bar and workout area, everything you need if you choose to relax at hotel instead of going out to walk the strip, so that was great.

Had a few issues checking in due to credit card not wanting to cooperate, but they helped us tremendously to get checked in. One thing I wish was disclosed is that they put a hold on your card for the first night, then An additional security deposit and then you actually pay for the room up front plus there’s the parking fees at the end. Kinda threw us for a loop and made our finances a bit tight because we weren’t expecting so many holds on our credit card and paying for the room completely up front. Ended up having to cut out some of our trip excursions due to so many deposits and holds and that equaled a large amount of $. Also, probably need to check the conditions on bath towels, many were frayed and raggedy. For the cost and atmosphere of the hotel, that was a tad bit disappointing. Over all, nice place. But probably won’t stay there again unless they just happen to have a fantastic rate again because it’s too close to bourbon street for my taste as well.

This hotel was wonderful. We requested for an early check in, but never would have thought we'd be able to get our room by 10am instead of 4pm! Our room even had a view of the beautiful courtyard. Free bottled water & free drinks from the bar are always a plus, as well!

New Orleans itself was nothing of what I was expecting. Bucket list item checked off and never return again. The hotel was great inside and the employees were all very friendly and polite. They look out for the guests and are very helpful. The parking is across the street underground that was a downfall besides the hotel being located in an alley off Bourbon St. Walking the streets secure your wallet/purse/jewelry and be back in before dark and don't walk alone. I don't find the area very safe but the police presence is GREAT to know they are there and keeping people safe.

We enjoyed our stay. Staff was great and friendly.
