Great mattress, soundproofing in no frills hotel
Comfortable mattress and excellent sound-proofing - never heard traffic, elevator, people in adjoining rooms, or even the thunder storm. Hotel is "no frills" - no glass for water, no shampoo, no conditioner, no phone, no washcloths (typical in Europe), only 4 hangers. Good air conditioner, which was vital in the heat. The room was dusty, but not due to lack of cleaning. We saw staff cleaning our floor and bathrooms were very clean, but I think there is still construction debris particles in ducts that comes out via AC, so dust motes in the air. Do make time for a drink at the rooftop bar - glorious view! Even better than the nearby Rose Garden. The pizza place across the street, Ristorante Rosetta, is excellent and has a nice patio behind. The #10 bus stops right in front and goes right to the train station and Old Town. We will stay here again!
