Room 329 had the best view staff was very informative everything was clean im a housekeeper myself so i I knew what to look for if i go back to Asheville i will stay here again

Disappointed with this hotel. Being in the heart of Asheville it was definitely a smaller Courtyard and older. The walls were paper thin. We heard conversation and tv the whole stay with our neighbors. The doors constantly slamming.....it was awful. The tv was dated and the quality was horrible for the shows. The bathroom is outdated as well and just looked worn down. We did not receive house keeping during our stay. We were asked if we wanted it when we checked in and said yes. One of the reasons I stayed here was the Starbucks and cafe which apparently isn't open. There was a ton of dogs as well as we were there. Just not up to the standards with other Courtyards I have stayed at.

There was crusted dog feces on floor we had to clean (because of covid or we would have called housekeeping). I was charged by a loose dog pulling leash. Kaitlyn got rude when I told her about it. She then told me it was a gentleman walking his dog not staying at hotel. It was a business area with no houses near, 17 degrees and covered in ice which says to me that it was in fact a resident of hotel.

I was very pleased with my experience with Courtyard by Marriott. I spent a little more than usual and it was worth it! Caitlyn made sure we were taken care of from check -in. She made our stay and xmas getaway so much nicer on our first visit to Asheville. I will be using the Marriott chain for sure in the future. Thank you for your standards!

Very clean and updated. Great Asheville location.

It was a comfortable stay. We had brought our small dog with us and over all it worked out well. We were disappointed that the bistro was not open for service due to COVID. They should have a specified area for owners to walk their pets and encourage them to pick up afterward.

I was not happy on checking out when a $50 pet charge was charged for my housetrained kennel trained small dog. Online said”pet friendly”. Didn’t discuss $50 fee for “deep cleaning” due to allergies. My pet is miniature schnauzer. They are known for their Non-alergetic characteristics. I wouldn’t have paid $50 extra for a 1 night stay. Would have gone elsewhere! A prior hotel in Nashville only charged $25 and disclosed it up front.

Walls are extremely thin, we were even moved to another room on another floor and it was no better. Also while we were enjoying the fire pit the front desk clerk came out turned it off and walked back in as we were sitting there. No great service at all. The service in the morning was great but the guy at night was really bad.

Property was clean, room was spacious, plenty of parking and close drive to downtown Asheville.
