The hotel was very conveniently located right off the interstate and was within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Although I was under the impression that parking was free for guests, we were informed upon arrival there was a $15 / night charge for parking in the back or $20 valet parking. The room was very nice and spacious. The only real complaint I have is that the shower curtain appeared to have a blood stain on it and the tub itself had an extreme curvature that was uncomfortable to stand on. It reminded me of the shape of a hotdog bun.

Enjoyed our stay at the Renaissance. Loved the location, you could go anywhere in downtown Asheville within a 5-10 minute walk depending on where you were going. The hotel staff was great. My kids loved the big pool. Only down sides, were the pillows could be firmer and the bathroom door was translucent, on a slide with no lock. Would prefer a real door for the bathroom.

The stay was AMAZING! We wish that we had booked a longer stay, but the 2 nights we where there were excellent. Staff was so friendly, and it’s a pet friendly hotel! We were able to bring our dogs and they were treated like us! Amazing staff. Amazing hotel.

It was absolutely amazing. We had a deluxe king on the 10th floor and the views of the mountains were breathtaking. We had lunch at local restaurant downtown. I can’t remember the name of it but it was ok. We had dinner at the Red Stage restaurant inside The Bohemian hotel. This was the highlight of the whole trip. Food was award winning and the staff is so kind and attentive. We reserved the room that includes breakfast and the breakfast was delicious and discounted if you purchase it with you hotels.com reservations. We will definitely stay again!

Their dog-friendly policy comes with a $250 fine if it barks. The restaurant was closed, and the affects of covid related changes were apparent.

Clean, great service, nicely decorated. The only thing I didn’t love is the barn door on the bathroom.

Got there at 6pm and no rooms available. Some people camped out in lobby with children waiting on rooms. Valet was rude. Didn’t realize it was pet friendly (my mistake), and large dog across haul barked all night. Upon check-in, soap opened in bathroom, bed comforter tossed on bed (at best). Never again. Never.

Our stay was brief, one night. I did appreciate our early check in. We asked and they were ready for us two hours before our original check in time. Room was nice and clean and staff was friendly.

I was disappointed because I was given a lower floor and lots of people with dogs were on that floor.
