Comfortable but I nearly overslept...
A brief overnight stay before an early flight. Very comfortable room and friendly staff. My only complaint is that I ordered a wakeup call and it didn't arrive (very important at 3.30am!!) Luckily I'd set my own alarm as well and managed not to turn it off and go back to sleep as usual... I'd also ordered a taxi and that arrived on time, so in the end it wasn't a problem - but lucky I didn't really need the wakeup call!

Improvedafter poor start
At first given a cold room where heating was not working. After complaining upgrded to an 'executive' room which was warm and comfortable. Very good pizzas in the restaurant and excellent breakfast so eventually good value for money. Wesbie should be clearer about parking and its cost overnight,

SO disappointing
Air conditioner/heater whistled all night, sounded like a fridge. Shower water pressure was pathetic. Asked for 2 feather pillows, it took them from 7pm to 11.45pm to find 4 foam rubber pillows. Couldn't find or didn't know what feather pillows were. Breakfast was good.

Never again.
I wish I could say something nice about this hotel, but I just can't find anything. First we had a bit of a hard time finding it by foot (we were exhibiting at NEC), called the hotel and got given directions, which basically didn't exist, after much searching, walking and asking we got to the hotel by having to get an airport bus to a car park near it. The couple of hours could've been avoided if the man on the phone at the hotel told us there was a SHUTTLE BUS!! Waste of time. There's a lot more issues that I have (room service for one!) but I don't think there's enough characters left for it all. The bathroom smelt a little damp, like the shower curtain was moldy or something, which was quite unpleasant. Having to park away from the hotel as they had a wedding on was really annoying as well, I don't see why all wedding guests couldn't go park somewhere else... Especially since we had been there two nights previously. The fact that when we finally got room service (cold, and they charged to the room when I said we would pay as we got the food, and had to get drinks separate as they wouldn't take an order over the phone for beverages), ate and went to get much needed rest, the full bells alarm goes off. Now I've worked in hotels for 8 years before I do what I do now, but an alarm only goes full bells (in the guests rooms), if an actual emergency or test. This was neither, as it had stopped after i'd got out of bed and dressed but not left the room. Will NEVER stay here again.

Never again
I was staying on Business as we were exhibiting at the NEC. There were a few issues, but i'm not sure if any could've been resolved and also after a long day on the stand, I don't really have the energy to move rooms etc. Some of the issues were: Uncomfortable bed (Room 312)- It felt like it had a massive indent in the middle, so wasn't really comfortable, but it was late on the first night so didn't want to move rooms, then simply forgot to mention until i was in the room at night, but again didn't want to move rooms (if you had any). Next was the person that we spoke to on the phone for directions gave us the wrong directions, we mentioned we were at the airport and he told us where to WALK, which was a 50 odd minute walk (we eventually figured out if we got the airport bus to car park 7, that would be close). The phone in room 310 didn't work, so we called from 310 to order room service (to be collected), again because we were just very tired. After five attempts at picking up the phone (and being hung up on? We answered, no reply, then line went dead), someone told us the food was ready, we go downstairs and it's just there on the side, no hot lamp, no metal lid, just getting cold. Then we still had to order drinks, as no drinks menu in room, and told to order as we collect. We also stated that we would pay as we collected the food, but couldn't as they had added it to the room, when we left no card on the system. There's more to say, but not enough characters..
