A room with no view
If you stay at this resort, I recommend getting a room with a balcony or an access to outside. And if you need a bright room, choose an East facing room. My first stay was just that and it was nice. The room with my second stay was north facing and dark. It had only a window with no screen and a limited ability to open. Not at all a resort-like feel. The rooms are older and could use updating. During my first visit, the room felt clean. The second visit the room did not feel clean. Even though the one room had a balcony, and it was nice place to sit, it overlooked the parking lot. Now given that I was going through a discounted service, I'm sure they didn't give me the best rooms, so there may be nicer rooms that overlook the golf Course and pool. Highly recommend asking for those rooms! The restaurant attached to the resort was nice. The common areas were esthetically pleasing. I was only there for a quick stay so I didn't use the resort (pool, golf course, etc.).

Highs and lows
The staff was welcoming, competent and always helpful. The food service at the pool was top notch. The facilities have some nice updated features including plenty of usb outlets in the room. WiFi was slow, floors are spongy and the air conditioning units quite loud
