Great stay

Loved our stay! The bar and lounge was very cozy and the food from the restaurant was great. Will definitely stay again when visiting Asheville.

We stayed 2 nights. We booked thru Hotels.com and left details notes including traveling with a small dog. Some hotels do not always receive or see these notes. So we called the location directly to confirm. When we were arrived, they acted surprised about our dog. I wished we didn’t have to jump trough these hoops. The grounds of the hotel was quite nice The lobby was very relaxing. The staff was pleasant. There was one rather small elevator- we used the stairs a few times to limit our wait.

The room was ok, the lobby was completely littered with bar cups, bottles and used napkins by 11pm, the surrounding area is horrible and my daughter was terrified.

We were a little disappointed. For the amount we spent-$130 a night-we expected this hotel to be much nicer. It was OLD and cramped. The grounds did not look to be well taken care of at all. The lobby was the most up to date space. This was probably a really nice hotel a couple decades ago but now they should not charge more than $70-$80 a night. The pictures on this site do show the rooms as they are but a much more vibrant and newer version of what we had. We felt betrayed because what we got was not what we saw or expected. The picture must have been taken 10 or more years ago and the furniture has not been updated since. The bathroom was super small. One person at a time only. Not what we expected from a resort hotel. The bed was uncomfortable and the room was not cleaned as well as it should have been. This hotel is dog friendly which is fine if you are a pet owner. We are not and prefer to not be in a room next door to a barking dog. And I do not wish to stay in a room in which someone may have had their pet in prior to me staying there. Will not stay here again. However if I ever win the lottery, I would buy it, tear it down and rebuild. The location was perfect, but too many misses including the street to turn into the property. It’s a no for me.

Overall experience was not that great as expected. I booked 3 rooms and all of the rooms provided were not even on same floor. The room I stayed was not clean as the bedsheet and towels were really dirty. We requested to change one of the room but there was no proper response and our request was completely neglected

The bathroom was a little small. A water main must if borne in town and we had to use bottled water all night and morning.

Room not ready at 4pm; 1st room smelled like a kennel, 2nd room much better but hotel / city had a water line break as checking in and had no drinking,cleaning water , front desk issued 1 quart water for 4 people. Left a day early to return home due to water issues and they tried to bill me $50 penalty. Hotel old and tired......great for pet owners but few others.
