We only had one night here, but I would stay again. The staff was so friendly and helpful, the rooms were spacious and comfortable. he view from the sky bar is great! There are comfortable chairs and games to play there as well.

The HM Grand is located within walking distance of the palace, the river, and there is a supermarket a couple of hundred metres away. The rooms are reasonable size and clean and not bad for comfort, they are tea and coffee making facilities, a safe, bathrobes, an LCD TV with a good selection of English-speaking channels, and the bathroom has a shower with a rainfall shower head and a handheld Rose with reasonable water pressure. The breakfast I put on is served it unsafe temperatures and is Bailey lukewarm and generally you would be foolish to touch it. However they do provide eggs cooked to order so they are okay and they also provide things like fresh pineapple and watermelon. The swimming pool area is very cramped with a small pool and it is quite pokey and uninviting. The housekeeping is the biggest problem here as they regularly forget to replenish things which is An Occurrence everyday, I sometimes. Make up the rooms until 2 or 3 in the afternoon or not at all until you call reception and say my room hasn't been cleaned and made. There are 25 very steep steps leading up to the reception and you have to drag your luggage up those steps to get in and out. They were errors with my booking and payment details which I had to waste time chasing and sorting with them so the housekeeping and the front of the house needs a lot of attention to bring it up to standard. It's not a bad place to stay for a few knots but there are better value-for-money better quality places about

The hotel was clean and nice, and the staff was very helpful. There weren't a whole lot of options for breakfast. It was a good hotel and served our purpose.

This is a new hotel, lift can't take residents from LG to all floors, so need to go from LG to Ground Floor then ask staff to restart lift to floors.
Great new hotel on a strategic location. The modern room with very clean and functional bathroom was in perfect condition, and offered a nice view over the city. The breakfast provides a wide choice of Asian and European food of very good quality. The overall service provided by the staff was very perfect! The manager understands the power of a personal customer care and the power of a most beautiful smile for welcoming the guest. The motorbike that I ordered on my arrival at the hotel was delivered within 15 minutes, and well parked in a guarded garage on street level. This hotel offered me top value for money. I know where to book during my next trip to Phnem Penh.

Stayed with wife and 2 grown up children for 3 nights. It’s a nice new boutique property but having teething start up issues. I guess staff needs better training – the attitude to delight the customer was missing. The room size was a bit small – since they gave us corner room, it was smaller than the normal rooms. The hotel was operating at very low occupancy – just about 10 to 20% - under such a situation, a hotel oriented towards guest comfort or delight would have upgraded to higher room category, however we got one of the corner rooms – much smaller than the regular rooms. There was some kind of disinterest of the staff – we used the complimentary spa but did not enjoy using it because neither Steam Room nor Hot Jacuzzi were working properly – the focus seemed to be on saving electricity. Breakfast was average. A small request like a late check out for one of the rooms (after spending 6 room nights in the hotel) had to be made and reminded a few times and they obliged after General Manager’s approval. Most hotels which are operating at high occupancy also try and accommodate this request with pleasure, however HM Grand operating at under 20% had to seek GM’s approval after 3 reminders – something seriously amiss. Overall, the hotel is nice new boutique property, lacks customer focus though – which I believe is most important in hospitality (or for that matter any other) business.

This is a fantastic hotel. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the service was fantastic. There is a nice pool and bar with food service on the top of the hotel. Short distances to many locations. Stayed for 6 nights during a business trip and it worked perfectly for me.

I did not like the fact that there where 2 power failures 1 lasted 2 hours and was at 2am my room was so hot it was unbearable. the second one was at about 2pm in the afternoon and lasted 4 hours this was a massive problem for me because I was on line working on a lease which I needed answers back straight away and as a result I still don not have a signed lease which is now ongoing this power failure has possibly cost me thousands of dollars.
