Hotel Laguna Arenal was an excellent find in a beautiful area. The rooms are comfortable and well-decorated and the property has an incredible view of the lake. The free breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend this location for tranquil getaway.

The owners were great! It was our honeymoon and they gave us a bottle of wine to enjoy on the patio overlooking the amazing view! It’s definitely a place worth visiting and we would return :)

What an amazing little place. 6 ultra modern bungalows. Anna was very welcoming. The food was terrific.

This is a real funky little spot to stop. Super cool modern design and the host keeps the units spotless. Only five units so very quiet and peaceful

Ana made us feel right at home. The view of the lake is simply amazing. We enjoyed bird watching from our room. Every breakfast was a gourmet treat. The one dinner we had at the hotel was better than the top rated restaurants in La Fortuna.

Our stay was amazing. The owner was very nice and helpful. The view from the room was breathtaking. We where so surprised by the 3 course dinner which was prepared by a very talented Chef. Breakfast was also spectacular. We would definitely stay there again!!

It’s an absolute hidden gem! Besides a stunning view on the constantly changing sky you are staying in a super modern and comfortable bungalow! Everything is new and super clean - very much European style. The chef from Peru at that time was cooking some delicious food - just let him do his work and ask for a chef’s menu and you’ll be very happy with what he will come up with. You feel the passion and love for little details and as soon as you meet the owners you know why. Highly recommend it! You will miss something truly beautiful if you don’t go there!

We loved our stay at Laguna Arenal and highly recommend it to others. The views of the lake are stunning and unbeatable. The owners and staff are very friendly and attentive. The breakfast is extensive and delicious (we had a good selection of tea, coffee, made-to-order eggs, French toast, pancakes, bacon, yogurt, toast, local cheese, and fresh juice). The chef is excellent and you can also get dinner there. The design of the apartments are unlike I’ve ever seen; very modern and all glass so you get lots of light throughout. The place was very clean and had an intimate vibe, with only six apartments and therefore limited guests at a time.
