The Tropicana Inn was way overpriced for what you get. After paying Hotels.com $359 per night to stay near Disneyland on a Sunday, Monday and Tuesday night, the Tropicana then charges an additional $26 a night for parking. They don't even provide a free breakfast there. The only room service they give is emptying your trash daily, and if you throw your towels on the floor, they will give you clean ones daily. No vacuuming, bed making, or cleaning the sinks. they never replenished the soap in the shower, so we had one small tube of liquid soap for 4 people for 3 nights. Luckily the double sinks outside the shower area each had one bar soap. As for parking, the hotel decided to block off a bunch of parking slots (the back 1/3 of the lot) so that they could offer valet parking, which means anyone assigned a room in that area was forced to have valet parking. It was totally stupid, and had they not taken the spots away, there would have been plenty of room for everyone to park next to their rooms. But instead, about 1/3 of the rooms were forced to take valet parking or park far away from their room if they could find a spot.
