Horrible communication after booking prior to receiving check in instructions leading to unnecessary stress for several days prior to arrival. Did not receive self check in instructions until the day prior to arrival. Was unable to communicate with property via phone using contact number listed on hotels.com reservation reminder (which happened to be a China number, not a local number and long distance costs) Ended up contacting hotels.com customer service several times trying to communicate with property and being provided with alternate local contact number and Ostay contact email address. Again, we tried these but were still unable to contact the property and never got a response to email. This further increased our stress level for several days leading up to our booking wondering if our reservation was going to be honoured and whether we had a place to stay upon arrival. The property itself was great. The apartment was super clean, comfortable and modern. Had no issues dealing with property management company once we received the self check in instructions. But the frustration and stress not knowing when we were to supposed to receive the self check in instructions and the lack of communication would lead me never to want to stay at an Ostay property again.
