Helpful friendly Manager. Comfortable bed. Good shower. Excellent cooked breakfast incuded. We chose it from reviews and location a short drive to Bath & West Showground. On first impression it seems a little run down and the room was quite small but it was comfortable representing good value.

We ate supper and had breakfast in the hotel - both meals were good. The only point to make is that the room we had would be small for a long stay, but there may be larger ones. I left my glasses behind and Geoff, the owner, posted them back to me the next day.

This is the second time we have stayed at this property and already booked to come back again.
Everything you need for a pleasant stay.
Free parking is also a bonus.
Just a few minutes away from the showground where they hold antique fairs.
Jeff is an excellent host and cooks amazing meals.

Lovely boutique style pub/hotel. Clean, comfortable, compact bedrooms. Ideally situated for Shepton Mallet and the showground. Will definitely be staying there again.

Room warm and spacious.
We stayed in the family room which was surprisingly spacious with proper beds for all. However, this room happens to be at the front of the property, which itself sits on the corner of a busy main road. Unfortunately the headlights and noise from traffic throughout the night made for a very difficult nights sleep.
