Peaceful, clean, and comfortable!

A great place to stop. Our room was easy to find, and was scrupulously clean. The resort has age, which shows in the little things such as some desilvering in the mirrors and some outdated decor. However the place was kept very tidy and appears well maintained. We were pleasantly surprised with the kitchenette in our room. The A/C worked great and the resort has many complementary amenities such as a fire pit (wood provided) and paddle boats. The area is quiet and peaceful. We had no issues during our stay and would gladly return.

Great place to stay if you don`t want to be in town. Very quiet and the rooms are larger than a normal hotel. Staff is always super to deal with and while it is an older resort it does he job really well.

Staying at Canyon Lake Resort during a trip in November met my needs exactly. The room was clean and quiet, and the staff were helpful and friendly. It is also a beautiful and unique location, situated within sight and walking distance of walking trails, the lake, and a park, all of which gave an added bonus of wildlife viewing opportunities! I would absolutely stay here again.

the a/c in the unit was too loud measuring 63 dB per my iphone dB meter. the carpet’s age made the apartment smell strange though it has been properly cleaned. i would have expected two bathrooms for a 365 dollar per day unit.

Pleasant setting

It's not the Waldorf Astoria but that wasn't the intent. If you're looking for a clean friendly stay in a beautifully walkable setting this is it. Apart from the somewhat dated accomodations (hey, it was a tad rustic but it evoked pleasant feelings of nostalgia for this 60-something boomer) I couldn't have asked for a quiter room nestled on the shore of a beautiful lake (well, reservoir) and park. Plus we had the added benefit of being there outside of the tourist season. I'll be back.

We stayed in the cutest tiny cabin with our own front porch with a table and chairs and our own grill. The room was small but it had everything, kitchen table, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, stove top, dishes. A great shower and tub. The bed was comfortable and the cable tv channels were too many to count. The people in the office were super friendly and accommodating. We were only staying for one night but would have loved a week.

The room smelled like air freshener. Once the air freshener wore off, you could smell extension in the room. There wasn’t any exhaust fan in the bathroom so you took a shower. It was really steamy and hot and when you use the bathroom all the older we go out into the bedroom, it was not very clean
