The property was clean, safe, and a short distance from the train. You do need to climb a flight of stairs to reach the room and you are asked to pay a tourist tax, 2 euros/person/night (cash). The room is conveniently located to shopping and dining. The room is walkable distance to the cruise ships, approximately 2 miles.

It was pretty difficult for us to find the property when we first got there as the restaurant it tells you to look for was closed and you couldn’t see the sign for the name of it. We weren’t able to use the breakfast vouchers provided because both restaurants ended up being closed the day we were there. Nice and close to port (we were able to walk to port and use the free shuttle in port to get to our cruise line).

This place was perfect for us as a launch point for a cruise. It’s not what you might would expect in an upscale setting. It’s Italy. It’s old, it’s not fancy, there is some walking required to get transportation. You check in via a phone call. You don’t see anyone from the place till the next morning but we loved it. Plenty of Eating and shopping near by. It was a great taste of Italy to begin our cruise.

I think the management should send the information through WhatsApp or email before check-in. I met other guest waiting at the door and if I wasn't there they would have had issues getting in. The place was charming, but needs some adjustments. The bathroom was down the hall from my room, which was inconvenient. The towels are not soft, and shower trickles water, because shower nozzle needs to be replaced. It was enough for a short stay.

A Basic/Small Room in an Excellent Location

This unit is in a great location within walking distance to restaurants, shops and the water front promenade. The Red Carpet (restaurant in the building next door) makes a great pizza. This unit is part of an apartment, whose bedrooms were turned into individual units. The bedroom was too tiny for a family of three. The door to the unit is a pocket door (closet style) that doesn’t block the noise from outside and makes you feel there is not privacy. Strangely enough, hot water was only available after the third person took a shower.

This property was very convenient. The door to the hallway is very difficult to open. I was unable to get it unlocked and did not leave the hotel the BNB when I got in. This property does not have a refrigerator in the room. It is a shared area outside the rooms. There isn’t any food on the property.

Ok voor een nachtje

De informatie met betrekking tot aankomst en check in was uitstekend. De bereikbaarheid is erg goed. De kamer is toe aan een grondige opknapbeurt. Het schilderwerk, de tegels en de houten delen (kozijnen en kastje in de badkamer) zijn echt niet zo goed meer. Verder is de kamer erg gehorig en is er weinig waterdruk in de badkamer en de temperatuur van het water is niet constant. Het bed daarentegen was uitstekend en de airco werkte goed. Het ontbijt is erg beperkt (croissant OF muffin en een kop koffie), de tweede kop koffie moest zelfs betaald worden. Een ok verblijf voor een nachtje maar daar blijft het bij.

Check in was a Sunday, on our way there they told us air was down and couldnt be fixed until next day. It was unbearably hot inside and was much much smaller than it looked online. Was given a refunded but only partial, not sure why? If you like tiny rooms it will work for you.

We were arrived around 9pm after an 18 hours journey. The place is not easy to find because there is no clear address or sign in the building, and also the entrance way is embedded in restaurants tables, full and very crowded plaza. Next, we followed instructions to get key, however, the lock is not easy to open, maybe it’s an European style that you won’t tell when lock is open, key can keep turn forever….. when we went out for late dinner, we were afraid you cannot open door again as door lock is not very friendly.

This was a perfect place for a solo traveler before a cruise. Restaurants close by, AC worked very well once it got going, and a short walk to the beach. That said, don’t walk to the cruise port, go to the train station and catch the €6 bus. You can pay with your phone as you get on. Also, the keys made things tricky for me … yes, the keys … to lock rooms/bathroom you have to have the keys. They’re not what American think of keys - more like an ole timey skeleton type key. You have to perfectly place them in the lock — I swore I was going to be stuck in the bathroom! The keys like this are used for the bathroom and for getting into the BB (not the exterior door or room) and the Papavero bathroom). Not that big of a deal, sure, but a little panic inducing at times! Breakfast voucher was great. You do have to leave €3 cash before leaving so have euros or visit an ATM close by. All in all — great place for me. ❤️

Perto do aeroporto, bom pra esperar o voo; tem transfer na acomodação , basta contratar. Limpo, confortável com café da manha automatico: torradas, manteiga, cafe capsulas, geleia suco de caixinha etc. Valeu !
