This is a quiet place in Montreal, Gers, which could be really nice but is just OK. Very good price for the beginning of high season (~ USD 50/night)
Reception is open limited hours, but they can give you a code to open the gate and leave your towels and keys out for you if arriving late. The people at reception were unfailingly helpful and (almost alarmingly !) positive. There is a parking area which I think will not be quite enough if the place is full.
Hameaux is made up of small apartments, in small wooden buildings 2 or 3 stories high. Mine was a small (1 BR) apartment on the ground floor, The place was basically clean, but the walls could do with some painting. The apartment was fairly spacious, and (like all rooms here) had a porch with a table and chairs. Living room was spacious (wooden dining table and chairs, sofa, coffee table) but poorly lit.
The kitchenette was well equipped (hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffeemaker, fair amount of cutlery and crockery and pots and pans). Bathroom was OK too, plentiful hot water (and a heated towel rack).
Bedroom was smallish. Bed was wedged between two closets, with hanging room only (one small shelf). Really need a chest of drawers, and proper reading lights. There was also cleaning stuff in a closer, plus a rack for drying clothes.
There are grassy areas outside, and a nice pool (no shade, though), a sauna and a jacuzzi.
