The hotel enjoys a fantastic location, but the overall service and value didn’t quite meet the standards expected from a four-star establishment. Our room was spacious and comfortable; however, it had a strong and unpleasant odor—likely coming from the carpet—which made the stay less enjoyable. On the day of our departure, we received a call from reception just ten minutes after the official checkout time (12 PM), urging us to vacate the room immediately, despite new check-ins being scheduled for 3 PM. Later, while waiting in the empty lobby before heading to the airport, we ordered some sandwiches and politely asked for a small plate to eat properly. The receptionist—same person as earlier—refused, saying that the hotel “does not usually allow this” as it could disturb check-in procedures. Overall, while the location is excellent, the experience lacked the warmth, flexibility, and attentiveness one would expect from a four-star hotel.

Booked this hotel based off of reviews and it did not disappoint for my family of 6. It’s so hard to find decent, reasonably priced hotels for such a large family. We had two triple rooms which were perfect for us with just the right amount of space. And being in Paris during 40 degree weather the AC worked so well. The hotel centrally located in the 9th with so many great restaurants within walking distance. 15 min to Paris Du Nord train station, 25 min to the Louvre, and many other great spots. The staff at the desk and cleaning staff were all also very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

We had to take two rooms for a family of four because rooms are very tiny. I couldn’t open the washroom door because it was next to the bed. Another thing was the smell in room 606 we couldn’t tell what that was, something like dampness. So we had to open windows to air it out every time we came back to our room. The windows in both 606 and 607 washrooms didn’t have any window covers so we had to cover it with pillows to ensure that people across the street don’t see us. There are incredibly thin walls and a connecting door in room 606. I could hear every sound my neighbors made, their telephone conversations and even the person speaking on the other end. Couldn’t sleep well because they were arriving at 1 am and watching TV. Earplugs helped a bit. We literally had to whisper all the time. Upon arrival we were advised to use the elevator by two people to avoid it getting stuck between the floors. Otherwise it’s a modern and freshly renovated, has mattress covers, hot shower with good water pressure. We could probably stay there again if it wasn’t for the smell and the thin walls. Room 607 was a little bigger and more comfortable. Area is pretty nice and very walkable. About 25 minutes walk to Louvre and galleries Lafayette, lots of restaurants, grocery store and pharmacy nearby.

I don’t know where to start. Tiny rooms, you can only fit ONE person in the elevator at a time. You have to ring the bell to be buzzed in by the front desk everytime you leave the hotel. The staff watches your every move, meaning you cannot even have an additional guest hang out in your room. Racist moment: my black friend tried to book a room late night at this hotel and was denied. He was told there was no rooms available by front desk staff. We went on Expedia and showed the attendant that there are in fact rooms available. The attendant pointed to me and said YOU can book the room but he (my black friend) cannot. NEVER coming back to this hotel.

It says there is a parking lot at the hotel, but there isn't. They direct you to another parking lot and that parking lot is not safe at all. Because everywhere smells disgusting and you run the risk of catching a disease. Normally, if hotels have mini bars in their rooms, they take a deposit at check-in. When we checked in, a deposit of 100€ was taken from us, but there was no minibar or anything in the room. The room is very small and after a certain time in the evening they close the outside door of the hotel. As a result, I do not recommend.

Horrible sewer smell and bad management atttitude

We reserved for 3 nights. Our flight was canceled twice in a row, so we missed two of the 3 nights. The hotel refused to do any commercial gesture for the fact that we could not use the first prepaid 2 nights even though we did call them the day before to let them know. It is their policy, I understand. But when we finally got there we got a room with a horrendous sewer smell. And they said they had no other room. The hotel manager who was out told the front desk person on the phone (when she called him because we were justifiably very upset),not knowing we were standing next to her: " That is your problem, work it out". And the only compensation he was willing to give us was a free breakfast which we did not take. Very bad attitude, and serious sewer issues. Definitely not a good place where to stay!
