A fantastic hotel, with a small private and secure car park (pre book essential by emailing the hotel directly) within walking distance of all Ghent sights, just 15minute stroll to the centre My teenagers loved the space, friendly relaxed feel and lovely breakfast (lots of choice). The staff were so helpful and the hotel was spotlessly clean. We would highly recommend.

Super friendly and accomodation staff. The rooms are a good size, it's nice to have separate living rooms and bedrooms to stop the noise from the hallway (not that there was much anyway). The room was well kept, but there were a few stains and marks on the bedding. The breakfast was adequate, but felt a little lacking.

We had a great stay here with our one year old and three year old! We appreciated the cot and rollaway bed set up upon our arrival, and the walk to city center was about 15 min so not too bad. Great location for walking to city centre. Friendly, efficient and helpful Reception staff. Limited (and a little expensive) but convenient on-site, secure parking. Good food in the Dali restaurant and excellent breakfast buffet (included in room rate). Studio was spacious and well equipped with sufficent facilities to prepare a simple meal and relax in the evening if you do not wish to venture out to a restaurant after a day sightseeing. Ghent is a lovely, walkable city and we would absolutely stay at Castelnou again.

We had a lovely stay in Gent at the CASTLENOU apartment/hoIel.I would suggest having complimentary coffee snd tea available for guests. There are both in the rooms, however a limited selection. Breakfast had an extensive selection of a variety of breakfast foods for fifferent cultures. We had a suite which was roomy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We arrived at the hotel after a long overnight flight and were able to check in early, which we were very appreciative of. The rooms were quiet, the beds are comfortable, the breakfast is terrific… great location…couldn’t be happier!
