I am so pleased I found this hotel. It has a unique feel about it. The accommodation was a joy. Check in was great and the reception staff very helpful. The beach is within easy walking distance. We ordered and ate a delicious pizza on site.

Location is great!, a few steps from beach, the place has everything to disconnect for a few days, even a small supermarket! Beach is beautiful, the tends are very well equipped. Consider there’s no drinking water in the rooms,which they can provide even in sustainable glass bottles!. I do suggest creating a flat surface from parking is a pain rolling luggage inside the hotel

I loved the quiet seclusion of the Dunas resort property. I didn’t realize it was so big with so many amenities. Unfortunately we were there on a Monday night when many of the dining options were closed. The grounds are beautiful with mature trees, flowers and various pathways that wind through the casitas. Easy walk to the beach. Wish they provided beach towels. Their little market was very convenient for small items like water or sunscreen. Otherwise, no complaints.

Cute bungalow hotel close to beach

Came here as a family. We had 2 bedroom bungalow. It was a little too tight for essentially 4 adults (parents and two young adult children). However- we recognize that and think overall the experience was fun. Nice staff, secure location, short walk to a clean beach, pizza is so good we ate there 2 times over two days, the beds comfortable, clean rooms. The resort has insect repellent devices in room. I wish there was a fan in the rooms to help with the air and insect repellent. I recommend bringing personal mosquito spray. The convenient store on site was helpful. The breakfast buffet was quality and had options for everyone. Bring a book, deck of cards or dominos and sit on your patio to enjoy some relaxation time. I recommend.

We would definitely stay here again, outstanding rooms (we stayed in a bungalo). The breakfast is an incredible experience, outstanding. Two things need improvement: Big pothole at the front entrance, which I missed and drove into bottoming out the car. Secondly, the parking entrance/area could be smoother, jagged rocks and bumpy terrain. Don't show up with low profile tires/performace car, could be problematic... otherwise park on the street... Overall a hidden gem!!, well situated between Zahara and Tarifa, letting you take advantage of both cities.

Extremely disappointing experience. The noise levels from screaming children and drunk adults during the so called quiet hours were unbearable. The quiet hour rules are simply not enforced. Complained to the reception but they didn’t seem to care. No carts to move your bags from the parking area to our cabin which was a considerable walk. Lighting inside the cabin was poor. Breakfast was well overpriced. The only good thing about the place was its close proximity to the beach which was quite decent.

The place is well kept and everything is very pretty. However, that is part of the problem here because it's, well, just pretty. What I mean to say is that many things there are completely impractical starting from a cooker hood mounted above the coffee machine with no sight of a hob anywhere. Why? On the other hand aside from a basic set of cutlery and crockery there is nothing, not even dish towels let alone pans or pots. The whole idea seems to be to prevent people from cooking in the cabanas. That would be o.k. if the on site restaurant offered meals at decent prices. But charging 15,-€ per person for a breakfast was just for us (family of 4 staying for 2 nights) completely out of the question. Also, the entire compound is always "locked". That means no card no access. So, if you have younger children who want to come and go as they please between the nearby beach and the resort you'll have a problem.

Die Bungalows im Dunas Tarifa sind eine tolle, mal andere Möglichkeit zu Übernachten. Die Häusschen sind gut eingerichtet - passt alles bis auf die Foam-Betten, welche wir als sehr unbequem empfanden. Die Lodge verfügt über zwei Restaurants - eine Pizzeria und eines mit lokalen Speisen. Beide sehr zu empfehlen. Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Lage direkt neben dem Strand ist toll.. natürlich immer etwas ‚sandig‘ überall. Die Location ist sehr zu empfehlen.
