We loved it! It is worth it to stay as the drive up or down is about an hour one way. The food is better than other parks we’ve stayed. And the rooms are as well.

It’s a dated hotel, beds are not comfortable and walls are thin so you could hear your neighbors. Great location though to beat the crowds with an early morning hike. Location is the main reason we booked this hotel.

What a Great Place to stay when visiting Sequoia National Park . Logs is in the Park so very little driving to hit all the Great trails and sites . Food is good for where you are and location and background are wonderful. They have a trial head right at the back of the lodge that makes for great and sometimes testy trail if take all the way to Lodgepole and back . We will return next spring .

The restaurant food was excellent and the staff was attentive and friendly. If there is a negative it’s only that the elevation is high and the rooms are spill from the parking area and for those of us from the lower elevations it’s tiring to carry luggage uphill

We absolutely loved our stay here at the Lodge! Yes you have to carry your luggage up some stairs, but we had a wonderful time. Friday night we ate dinner at the restaurant, and Sat we grabbed some pizza and beers after a day of hiking. Staff was very helful and also let us check in early. We will definitely be back since we missed crystal cave.
