Pros: Place is conveniently located. Bed is clean and comfortable. Cons: Can hear the traffic noise Room is rather small for 4 pax Toliet tiles looks old and the basin tap is rather stiff.

Very old place with a musky smell. Not particularly clean. The walls are paper thin we could hear our neighbors' chatters clearly. The staff were helpful but they were like rushing us all the time. Not recommended.

Good basic hotel

Good basic hotel, way larger room than in Taipei in general. Also big plus for bathroom privacy, as it had a proper door (instead of the glass ones majority of hotels in Taipei had). Note worthy that the soundproofing was fairly poor, and sounds like water running were pretty constant and loud throughout the night. Will need earplugs. Also the curtains were broken, so despite the room having windows (again unlike majority of hotels in Taipei) we could not enjoy the outside view. Bathroom was nice and clean, seemed fairly freshly renovated. Note worthy that there is a hotel 20min walk away with almost exactly the same name, so need to double check when navigating!

Workers in front desk are all kind and rooms are so clean. But it is a bit far to go to the station.

Overall Very Good

The staff and the location are outstanding. The only reason I would hesitate to stay at CHECK Inn Express Taipei Station is the size of the room. The rooms are small with no place to place a suitcase.
