We went to our room expecting bags to be brought up, but although it was only a few minutes they hadn’t arrived I chose to go back down and get them. No real issue, just mentioning. This was one of the best hotels i have stayed at in India. It’s literally on marine drive. It is one of the classic old school hotels to stay at. Looking at from outside its rather quite inconspicuous but this is one of the most famous hotels. One can’t find a better located hotel than this in mumbai. The rooms are a bit cramped yes, but not to the point of being uncomfortable. Staff at the reception and the in house dining is quite nice as well. The breakfast spread had a number of options and tasted delicious.
