The staff were super helpful and accommodating. We booked an afternoon tea which was delicious but was extremely slow and then we saw a mouse keep on running along the floor, to which one waitress was completely unbothered by and brushed it off to be expected of in the countryside! I also found a used contact lense lying on top of the duvet in my room.

8/10 Very good

The breakfast was very good..the staff were attentive and very helpful there. Parking was easy with shade available. A staff member Andy was very helpful in explaining my air conditioning. Lots of places to sit outside and read in peace and quiet. The guide file to the hotel in my room didn't say that the still/sparkling water in the fridge was complimentary. As l used it ,it was restocked each day..along with semi skimmed milk.

10/10 Exceptional

When we arrived at reception, we were met by a lovely receptionist and manager Paul who showed us to our room. We were stopping in the mews which is outside the hotel; in the grounds only about a 20 second walk. The temperature in the room is controlled by a dial in the room and the towel rail is always on in the bathroom. But there was air conditioning as well so you will not get to hot or to cold. The towels were changed every day and the pool towels are in your room and the bed every other day. The bed was very soft and squeaked when you got in. You don’t need to take toiletries as there is Molton Brown toiletries provided body wash, shampoo conditioner and body moisturiser The staff are all lovely. Very helpful. Breakfast there is plenty of choice both cold and hot cooked to order. Very well organized If you are staying over the weekend go on the Stud tour well worth a visit. Enjoy your stay you will not be disappointed.
