The hotel is centrally located so perfect for everything. There is car parking on site which is great if travelling by car. The hotel is a lovely old hotel with character and that can come with tiredness but it’s ok and not a negative. Staff were really helpful and when we asked for a fan for our room it was promptly taken up. Breakfast was lovely.

The room was good, staff were excellent. We stayed in a twin room, with good sized ensuite walk in shower. Bed and room was clean and comfy. 2 x Reception and 2 x breakfast staff were friendly, helpful and gave valuable local knowledge and advice. Reception staff were delighted to order a taxi for us despite there being a Taxi phone available in reception.

8/10 Very good

The hotel is very well located, right next to the University of Dundee and within easy reach of both the train station and the city centre. The room was spacious and airy, with a comfortable bed, a clean bathroom, and a great shower with plenty of hot water. The Wi-Fi connection was also very good. The staff were helpful and kindly stored my luggage after check-out, which was very convenient. Overall, I had a very good experience and thought the hotel offered excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend it, especially for anyone visiting the University of Dundee or looking for a convenient location in the city.

The hotel was a bit dated but perfect for our father/daughter golf trip. The twin beds were comfortable each night! I like the location and the parking easy to drive to and well situated as a base.

6/10 Good

Room was clean and comfy, however we arrived, keys didn’t work, I booked a twin room, but it was a double, told no twins were available, when in the first room, the window wouldn’t shut, so we were moved to a smaller room. Continental breakfast was terrible, consisted of ham, beef, cream cheese, initially no bread, but some was brought (sliced)and pastries came, when we were finished, coffee when it arrived was like tar. Staff were friendly and helpful
