Staff was super helpful and friendly, check in was at 15:00 but the gentleman at reception rushed to get our room ready upon early arrival and gave us local recommendations.

We stayed for one night due to our flight getting in at 10pm. We just wanted a room for the night. The superior double was compact and the mattress quite hard. There is a communal kitchen which we didn't need but would be great for young people travelling. The room was clean and fine for a 1 night stay

Stayed for one night after a flight was cancelled. Very well located in central old town. Beautifully decorated and super helpful staff. Below is a Michelin starred restaurant - if I ever come back to Faro I’m definitely staying here again and trying out the food downstairs!

Very beautiful 17th century building. The interiors are modernized and well maintained. The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful and even got us checked in a few hrs hourly since the room was ready. The location is great and the room was beautiful

The perfect place to stay for the night when we landed in Portugal. Check in was easy. The room clean and comfortable and the staff kind and helpful. Some nice restaurants and cafés within a couple of minutes walk. Had a fab dinner at Taverna o Tasca in the square just round the corner

8/10 Very good

Compared to the negative reviews i read. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Only issues were the shower was not draining well and the flies bugs in the kitchen which was unsightly. However beds and rooms clean and immaculate. quiet and peaceful otherwise. Next to a Michelin star restaurant which we realized afterwards. Better than expected overall experience.

Lovely little hotel in a great location.

Ours was only a flying one-night visit, but we thought this hotel was lovely - a very warm welcome and a beautiful, comfortable room in a great location, all for an excellent price.

6/10 Good

The location was good. The listing says " family friendly, a frig and microwave in every room." Not the case at all. The front desk staff were rude. We asked if the maid comes daily, and they said "yes." After 3 days with no maid, they said that you need to put the sign on the door even though we had asked for clean towels and a room clean the day before. When we asked for clean towel, we were told that we could rent a towel.

6/10 Good

The location was the only real positive regarding this property. Quite a late check in time (latest I’ve experienced). The hotel has the feeling of more of a hostel that’s been converted. No fridge or safe in room. Room itself quite small. We were in Room 16 and the shower was terrible: black mould on grout and ceiling, the shower door and fittings were covered in black mould and the shower head was less monsoon, more gushing jet that frequently came through the door on to the floor. Despite the note/rules left by the staff that the towels would be changed every 3 days, ours weren’t changed - and before they reply to say we didn’t ask, there’s nothing detailing this as being the process on their ‘rules-note’ . Bed was comfortable and A/C welcome, but wall light was snapped/broken. We both felt it was pricey for our experience and wouldn’t stay here again. Basic expectations of a hotel room weren’t met on the whole, including basic in-room amenities.

10/10 Exceptional

Great quiet location in Faro and very accessible. We stayed in late March—despite some rain, it was a pleasant stay. Spotlessly clean with daily room service. Staff were very helpful and responsive, especially at check-in and when we requested extra pillows. Room layout was a bit tight around the bed and wardrobe, and WiFi/TV signal could be unreliable. Overall, great value for money—clean, comfortable, good location, and pleasant décor. Highly recommend.

8/10 Very good

Location is amazing. Close to everywhere. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was bright, airy and clean. Small mould on bathroom ceiling, could be removed with vinegar, bathroom window difficult to open (hence the mold I guess). TV needed tuning, and the cable connection was a bit flaky. Great value, as again the location was just perfect! :)
