The Bad: Trains going by and blowing their horn constantly. Other than that, was satisfied. The hotel is in a convenient location if you have a car (or willing to walk a mile) and need to get to convention center or Riverwalk. Close to Alamo dome. I was so amazed before I even entered the building. The location is wonderful and so was the view once I entered. The hotel was more than the website said it would be. This was my first time in San Antonio as an adult and I will be returning and staying at Cityview.

The hotel was nice but it was right next to boarded up buildings and barbed wire. Guard dogs two houses down to guard an empty building. I am a female and stayed alone and was unsure about my safety. Nothing happened but it freaked me out.

This hotel is nice, you get what you pay for. It is not walking distance to the riverwalk, but also I did not go for the riverwalk. Very small and good for just a place to sleep. The room was very muggy but cold at the same time. Maybe there wasn't proper ventilation in the bathroom but then the a/c blew very cold. Very small, no amenities but reasonable price and very convenient location. Would stay there again but not a top choice.

It was very nice. The service was always helpful and The room i had gotten wasnt what i got described when i booked and the guy at the front desk upgraded me for free. It could use a few more parking spaces it is very limited but other than that the rooms are very quiet. It was a nice get away. I will defidently be staying ther again.

TRAVELING WITH HUSBAND AND 3 KIDS, WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY! FRIENDLY STAFF, CLEAN ROOMS, AND THE BEDS ARE SUPER COMFY! JUST A COUPLE OF BLOCKS AWAY FROM THE RIVER WALK. OH AND DID I MENTION THE GREAT PRICE ?!

Convience to several places we wanted to visit: The Alamo, The RIVER CENTER MALL, Tower of Americas. We only wish we could have stayed longer. There was only one we had and that is the towels had hair on them (maybe you need a better lint trap on dryer),other than that our stay was enjoyable.

We stayed at the Cityview Inn for an event at the Alamodome. The location allowed us to walk back and forth to the dome with no problem. Walking downtown to the Riverwalk would have been a bit far for some, but doable if not too hot outside. The room was clean and modern but a tad cramped in terms of space. The refrigerator and microwave were a nice […] touch, although the fridge could have been colder. Very comfortable bed and plenty of hot water. We received a great price through Expedia, much less than other hotels in the area, plus the incentive of "gas money." The hotel has only been open for about a year, so the facilities still have a new feel to them. There were not really any amenities on the property, but if your goal is a clean room close to the Alamodome and a reasonable distance to the Riverwalk, this is a nice option - a decent room at a great price, plus free parking. I was also impressed by the friendliness of the staff, both in person and on the phone. The hotel is fairly new, still has the new construction smell to it. My room smelled a little musty which was odd but wasn't too bad. Location wasn't bad as long as you don't mind walking a little bit to the riverwalk. No frills, no pool or amenities but we were there for the city, not the hotel. I'd stay there again.

I am from San Antonio and had to stay during an emergency visit home. The location borders downtown (nice plus) and a not so nice neighborhood but since I am from SA, it was just fine for me. Suprisingly, very quiet. Clean and compact room but with new modern furniture. I would stay here again and again for the great price.

This hotel is either new or newly renovated. Great bathroom, 32in flat screen, and very comfortable beds. Staff was exceptionally friendly. Free internet and parking. Stayed three nights with the wife and 3yr old. Staying directly on the Riverwalk would have been nice, but by the time you pay for parking and internet, this hotel is at least 1/2 to 1/3 […] the price of the average hotel on the river. I wouldn't say the Riverwalk is within comfortable walking distance, especially with a 3 year old, but cab fare is about 5-6 bucks each way to get to the main part of the Riverwalk. No bar, restaurant, pool, or continental breakfast, but very clean and comfortable. This will definitely be at the top of my list for places to play next time travel to San Antonio. 詳情

This hotel is in a HORRIBLE part of town. Our first night we we're followed to the hotel by a very sketchy man that was at a local bar. The hotel was new and the staff was pleasant. After the first night we decided it wasn't safe to walk from the hotel to the Riverwalk so we called a cab. It took a good 35 minutes for the cab to arrive and when he did […] he said we were lucky he came because most cabbies won't pick anyone up on that side of the railroad. I was charged an extra fee for an extra person even though I didn't have extra people. There was no parking available. The man at the font desk was rude. I paid for two queen beds, but when I checked in, I was told that I only reserved a one bed room. After about 30 minutes, it was cleared up.However, it was not two queen beds like I paid for. It was […] just two standard sized beds. There was a dirty sock in the room when we entered. They didn't change the towels and only folded out wet towels to use again. My sister reserved the same room as I did on the same day. However, she was told that they did not have any other rooms. They gave her another room at another hotel that was about 15 miles away. Pros: Our room was clean, came equipped with microwave, fridge flat screen tv, free internet and coffeemaker. Had iron and ironing board. Bed was quite comfortable. No charge for parking. Cons: Just a few amenities, which we found missing, which leads to a less than 4 star rating.. No place to hang up clothes; no hangers or clothing rod. Most hotels […] have an area to put luggage. Nothing in the room allowed for that other than the floor. There was no place to sit, other than the bed, a small chair of some sort would have been nice. The tub was extremely slippery. There was a grab bar, but if someone stepped into tub, could easily fall. The hotel seemed rather new, so not sure if they just didn't give full thought to what is what most travelers find necessary. It's located on the edge of a not so desirable area, I would not feel safe walking at night in the area. The price was reasonable for this hotel. Yes, they don't charge for parking. We rented a car, and drove to Riverwalk most days, which means you pay to park. Most times it cost between $8. to $15. If we were to do it again, we would pay a bit more to stay in a hotel closer to the Riverwalk area,even if the hotel charges for parking. Most include some sort of breakfast as well. We drove everyday to go for breakfast. Again, this hotel was clean, fairly new, and our stay was not unpleasant.
