The hotel is super outdated but if you just need a warm bed, then perfect. Breakfast consists of bread, peanut butter, & jelly. Suggest going to Tin Lizzie in Deadwood for $4.99 breakfast buffet.

We know it's not a World Class hotel but it was exactly what we wanted. It was a one night stand hotel for us as we were on the move but would've been happy to stay longer.

First and last time guests. We only stayed one night out of the two nights we booked. The night of Dec 30, some of the other guests in the hotel were very noisy from 10:30pm to 3:00am. Which hotel management did nothing about. The next morning the front desk called at 8:45am to let us know that the city was shutting off the water at 8:45am, no shower, […] no toilet. We had just got up because we didn’t get any sleep the night before. I understand that the water thing isn’t the properties fault but they couldn’t tell us when it would be turned back on. The hotel is run down, worn carpets, tube TV and the continental breakfast was toast and juice. I found a room at the Days Inn up the street for seventy dollars less, better view and a lot nicer room. 詳情

A very tired hotel and the staff were far from welcoming. The breakfast ended up as an 'express breakfast'. This was essentially coffee, juice and toast. Hadly what we would have expected before our journey.

WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THE MOTEL AND STAFF. ROOMS ARE LARGE AND VERY CLEAN. ONLY TOAST FOR BREAKFAST BUT THAT IS WHAT THE MOTEL POSTS.

Hotel was very clean and personnel were very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast could have been better since it was only toast. The room was very spaceous. Bathroom area was kind of crowded. Could use a blow dryer too. Overall experience was much better than most of the hotels we found on our trip.

1st - it was suppose to be a non-smoking room. All they could do was the ion machine and spray. Didn't work. 2 days of smoke is bad for non-smokers. The breakfast consisted of coffee, juice (3), two kinds of bread, a toaster, 3 jellies and peanut butter! That's it. The room was very big but the bath had no hooks.......couldn't even use the hangers as […] they were dedicated to the closet pole (no hook). The separate sink area had no hooks either. One bar of soap that you must carry to which ever room you go. No ATT cel service and no free wi-fi as the server was down anc couldn't be fixed on the weekend. Very basic. and a bit run-down, but sheets & bathroom were clean. "breakfast" was 2 loaves of bread set out to toast with jam or peanut butter, coffee & juice. Very few services in Lead & only a Subway, pizza, expensive Roundhouse or diner to eat. Diner was new with terrible powdered ice tea & poor burgers & service.

Everything including price, comfortable beds, & hot tub was great except breakfast left a whole lot to be desired. Coffee was good but a toast bar is rediculous especially with one broken toaster.

Should listen to all the reviews because most were right!! Ice machines do not work! Only toast for breakfast and the toasters did not work most of the time! Absolutely nothing wrong with our stay. It is NOT in the Deadwood area, but in the Lead, neighborhood. Very close to Deadwood, but you must drive. That is the reason for the better prices for the room. Only negative is that they are making the hotel non smoking, and until they get the entire place ionized, you can still smell smoke in the room. Hotel was great...large spacious room with fridge and microwave in room. Some noise from surrounding rooms, otherwise quiet. There is alot of traveling to the sights of the black hills ...but the driving was well worth the price of hotel. Short drive to sturgis and deadwood. Will stay again...felt safe with kids.

The employees are very nice but the ice machine was broken my whole stay of 3 days. I had no hair dryer in my room and all the others were being used. I will not use this hotel again! It was not anywhere near the sights I was in South Dakota to see. The hotel personnel were less than pleasant and left me feeling like I was an inconvenience to them. The most comfortable bed we had on our trip. Generally, just a very pleasing hotel. Some carpet is showing age, but, I'm not there for the carpet.

This isn't a 5 star hotel and you're not paying 5 star prices. The building is in good condition and the staff is friendly. The room was pretty quite and the AC unit didn't rattle the window. Would I stay there again? Yes.

The bed was the worst I have ever slept in. It was comparable to sleeping on the ground. I was sore for 2 days after sleeping in it. Loved the bathtub though. The clerk at the front desk was not very helpful. We were alittle early and she wouldn't even check to see if our room was ready. She just told us to come back at check in time.

I stayed for a week and a maid would clean up the room for me daily which was nice. The people at the desk were friendly and would usually say a greeting to me everyday. The breakfast was only toast but I liked the coffee and juice. The room was clean with a huge bathtub and offered nice window views and it was priced great for the beginning of the […] tourist season. Since we were not able to book a room in Deadwood during Presidents weekend (not sure why, the streets where dead) we opted to stay in Lead. Although older the rooms were very clean. Only complaint was lack of parking due to snow mobile trailers everywhere. I would stay here again.

This hotel is located a few minutes from Deadwood itself, in the neighboring town of Lead. The hotel building is aging, and you can tell. But it is aging reasonably well, and more importantly the rooms are extremely clean. Sheets, towels, surfaces, everything was spotless. Staff was very friendly.

The room was clean and the hotel staff very friendly. A couple of concerns but not serious ones -- the sink area of the bathroom was very tight and cramped and the "free" breakfast was quite minimal, just toast and coffee. Overall, though, it is a motel worth visiting and overall our stay was pleasant. It is reasonable value for the money.

Good location to Deadwood with much better rate. Room was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Only disappointments were breakfast (toast and coffee) and tiny bathroom counter space. Would stay here again, however.

Got there no one at front desk, waited, waited, then lady over by microwave says be right with you, not "Hi" just be right with you. She was heating up her food, comes back behind counter, says" do you have reservation?, again not Hi or any form of greeting. Then just checked me in and gave me keys. VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!
