We were warmly welcomed by the staff when we arrived and given a really nice room right on the beach. The staff were all polite and smiling a lot which... made for a really pleasant atmosphere. The Italian manager was eager to make our visit a good one and was very interactive with the staff and guests. The place is small and has a very relaxing feel to it - great if you want to get away from the rush of every day life, which is what we wanted for our honeymoon. We enjoyed the beach, the hammock, the food and talking to the locals who were very helpful! Tour guides are provided, but if you're looking at doing a group tour (cheaper), you're obviously dependent on others wanting to do what you want to do. Of course, you can always pay for a taxi, but you may have to pay quite a bit to travel to some of the popular destinations and the excursions themselves may cost more if you're not part of a group.
