Very pleasant stay with very helpful staff. The only draw back is the location which is off the main road. Plenty of eating establishments in the locality and it is not far from the Strip. The hotel is in pretty gardens and fairly low rise. The pool is nice and clean and the breakfast terrace has a lovely view over the Kotu stream entering the sea. The rooms were comfortable and the fridge useful. The bathrooms were a little old and in less than perfect condition but perfectly adequate. The staff were friendly and the location good. we had three weeks in this hotel , we found the staff were very nice, the food needs working on, it was o-k but can improve alot . the area of the hotel its a little out of the way therefore made it a quieter holiday rather than being in the thick of things like in senegambia. the hotel could do with some more mainteance ,like straigtening the lights […] in the bathrooms & airconditioning units, they are not straight ,& a lick of paint, the gardens were nicely kept. our shower unit we had a problem with the water pressureother than that it was alright, i would go back there again,just one more thing ...when we left to come home the staff on reception could have come over to us out of curtisy & wished us a safe flight home & to thank us for staying there & hope to see us again ect , that would have been nice. 詳情

The best thing about this hotel is the friendly staff who are always willing to help you and always have a friendly smile. The hotel is clean and very well maintained. The pool is small but clean. I beskrivelsen af hotellet er det oplyst at der er aircondition, men ikke at det skal man betale meget extra for at benytte Hotellet ligger ved en lille flodudmunding, hvilket betyder at man skal gå væk fra hotelområdet for at bade i rent vand Swimming pool er meget lille og der er en kamp om at få madrasser og skygge, både ved pool og på strand

Sunset Beach -hotelli Gambian Serekundassa, Kotun kilometrien pituisen hiekkarannan keskikohdassa, on oivallinen kohden palvoa kuumaa tropiikin aurinkoa, jonka paahteelta aivan vieressä mouruava Atlantti komeine ja lämpimine aaltoineen tarjoaa kätevästi helpotuksen. Hotellin pienelle, siistille allasalueelle puhalsi joka päivä vieno merituuli ja vieressä oleva allasbaari/grilliravintola tarjosi paitsi suojaa auringolta myös maittavaa perusmättöä höystettynä mahtavalla merimaisemalla. Miinuspuolella oli itse huone, perustasoinen bungalow, jonka sijainti rannalla ja allasalueen tuntumassa kylläkin oli hyvä mutta yleisilme tunkkainen ja nuhjuinen. "Imastointi" oli vanha tehoton seinämallinen puhallin huoneen sivuseinällä, jolloin vähäinen viilennys osui vain pikkuruiseen televisioon. Lisämaksukin rakkineesta meni. Suosittelen tilavampia apartmentteja tai superior-huoneita; hinnat ovat euromääräisesti joka tapauksessa halpoja. Hotellin sijainti on hyvä. Matka Senegambian vilkkaalle ravintolakadulle on lyhyt; paikallinen taksi (joita on tyrkyllä joka metrillä; ikikuluja Euroopassa käytöstä poistettuja tuontirakkineita) vie ja tuo parilla kympillä ja odottaa samaan hintaan 2h. Virallisten oppaiden ja rahanvaihtajien päivystyspiste myös aivan vieressä. Kaikkialta vierelle käsi ojossa ja naama virneessä ilmestyvät ja opas- ym. palvelujaan tarjoavat "bumsterit" ovat hyväntahtoinen ja jatkuva riesa. Hymyn ja "terve, terve, mita kuuluu" -ystävällisyyden takana on tietysti rahantarve; rutiköyhässä Gambiassa pienikin summa tuo ison avun. en härlig upplevelse att äta frukost på hotellets restaurang som i princip ligger på stranden. Frukostbuffén är också mycket bra och rekommenderas!

Instalaciones muy mejorables, piscina, mesa de ping pong y basta. En la misma playa. Tiene tienda (súper), muy de agradecer con bebidas, tabaco, etc. Desyuno bastante sencillo pero restaurante bastante decente aunque no barato (precio gral. de Gambia). Servicio correcto. TV con más canales que en el Sheraton incluida TVE internacional. Nevera, A/A.

Ett mycket bra hotell med vänlig personal och som ligger precis vid stranden. Dock blev jag missnöjd med servicen då vi kom mitt i natten. Portieren visste inte var vår nyckel fanns utan de fick kolla upp det. Vi väntade i över 30 minuter och då vi frågade igen hade de glömt bort oss, trots att vi satt i lobbyn. Efter 10 minuter kom de med nyckel till […] ett annat rum, vilket var helt okey då vi inte hade saker i det första rummet. Denna fadäs är dock inget hinder för mig att tänka mig att komma tillbaka. Sunset beach er absolutt ett hotell å anbefale for en ferie i Gambia. ALLE de ansatte var høflige , smilende og så utrolig hjelpsomme. Rommet var mer som en leilighet, 4 rom i rekke, med stoler og ett bord ved inngangen. Det var også ett nydelig hage anlegg i hele hotell området. I løpet av mine 2 uker så jeg ikke en eneste mygg på området! Hotellet […] kan absolutt anbefales. Fikk også "gleden" av å prøve Senegambia beach hotel på denne reisen, pga tekniske problemer ble det ett døgn på Senegambia Beach hotell, og dette hotellet var en skuffelse,betjeningen var rett og slett spydige og i tillegg var det masse mygg der. Senegambia var ett flott hotell, men men betjening og mygg gjør det sitt til at jeg vil bruke Sunset beach neste gang også. For det vil bli en neste gang til Gambia, Gambia er virkelig smilets land. 詳情
