New Yorker Boutique Hotel - 邁阿密海岸

We had read some really bad reviews and were afraid to stay there but had no other options. The room was great and nothing about what we had read was true. I had a very pleasant stay here. Room was very clean. Would definitely stay there again.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this hotel. For the price, it was fantastic. It was clean, the bed was ridiculously comfortable, the staff were lovely. The rooms were really cute, there was all the amenities you need, Fridge, hairdryer, TV, A/C, we wanted for nothing. The only thing we would of liked was a kettle in the room. But from […] past experiences, we always bring a travel kettle with us. Having free wi-fi was a huge bonus to us, allowing us to keep in touch with friends and family during our travels. They even have a computer in the reception area for those who haven't brought a laptop. The location was perfect, if like us you like to explore a city using its transport system. And I have to say Miami-dade transit ticks all the boxes when it comes to getting you around the city. The number 3 and 16 bus run passed the hotel, which take you downtown (3) or to the omni station (3 & 16). Going the other way, the 3 takes you to Aventura Mall, which is a shoppers paradise. Each trip on the bus is $2, or you can buy a day ($5) or week pass ($26) from the government centre station or other onlets listed on the Miami-dade transit webpage. The breakfast of cereal, bagel, teas, coffees and juices were more than enough. The guy who oversees the breakfast bar was always a cheerful face in the morning. The breakfast area was really pleasant, nice little shaded spot to read and sip coffee. In the surrounding area there is a supermarket (convienience store) nextdoor and they sell cigarettes, batteries, groceries, toiletries etc. There were plenty of restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel, if you don't want to stay too far, as well as a starbucks. If we ever find ourselves in this part of the world again, we would not hesitate to make reservations at the Hotel New Yorker. Thanks for a lovely week! 詳情

The New Yorker Boutique Hotel is perfect for those who are traveling on a budget. The surrounding neighborhood doesn't have to much offer in the way of sightseeing, but there are a couple of restaurants within walking distance (Balans offers a 10% discount with your hotel roomcard). We stayed in room 119, with a king-sized bed. The room and bathroom […] were clean, and the bed was perfect for a good night's rest. (It's one of those sturdy yet soft beds that you just sink in to.) We were only there for a night and arrived at dusk. It was a bit on the chilly side, so I have nothing to say about the pool. A couple words of caution-- 1. One of the face towels smelled a bit moldy, but the rest were clean. 2. There were two sets of ear plugs on the bed-side table when we walked in. I didn't even think twice about them until our upstairs "neighbors" arrived around 11pm. I was exhausted so I fell asleep fine (and am from NYC and am used to hearing the trampolining of people above me). If you need peace and quiet to sleep, ask for a second floor room. 詳情

We rented a room here a couple of days before and after our cruise. Not much in the neighborhood for stores (other than a convenience store across the street for beer, smokes, pop, etc) but have some very nice restaurants within walking distance. I was the guest speaker at a conference. What was nice: very spacious room, fridge in the room, great retro decor, free, nice breakfast in the morning, close to beach, easy to get to, 10% discount at local eatery. Not so nice: there were only three outlets in the room and only 2 worked, the lighting/fan system is on a remote and took some to figure […] out how to work, very small bathroom, no open windows with no ventilation-so room gets really stuffy, and no elevator to 2nd floor--not the best for wheelchair accessibility since every door has a step-up. I arrived at 9am after a red-eye flight from the west coast, when I got to the hotel there were no rooms available and had to wait for someone to check out and the room to be cleaned before I could check-in. Normally this would not have been a problem but I was presenting at this conference later that afternoon and was looking forward to showering and changing before heading to the meeting that started at 10am--which I was unable to do. The next couple nights were also at full capacity so I imagine its a popular place. I was frustrated but understood the limitations of a boutique hotel. I thought this hotel was going to be much better than reality. The pictures were deceiving. The hotel was run down, the rooms were clean but the shape of the hotel made me feel disgusted to sleep in the bed, go to the bathroom. The area is in the ghetto. The rooms smelled, the walls were thin and could hear noise all night. Fuse blew in the bathroom. No phone or alarm clock in the room. Motel shuttle cost more than the cab and they did not want to negotiate. Not much in the area at all.

Everything felt new, fresh and clean. My room was on the back so very quiet. Pool was lovely, garden nice. Continental breakfast was so-so but the staff and hosts were lovely. Biscayne Blvd is gentrifying but not the best area in town (though I felt 100% safe). Some great restaurants near by (Balans, Metro, Andiamo...). Clean hotel, the bed was great, some of the decor is a bit dated but that's the style of the hotel. Not a negative really. only there for one night and didn't really look around the neighbourhood.

I understand the motel was converted to a hotel for tourists and I loved the location to downtown Miami and places I needed to get to but the rooms can use a fresh coat of paint and the pool could be cleaned earlier for swimming or just relaxing. Great location, clean room, plenty of hot water, nice pool, enjoyed the breakfast in the outdoor courtyard, excellent food across the street at Balans restaurant and the staff was awesome! Would definitely stay again, thanks!

The staff at this hotel are really nice. Liked them a lot. The rooms are also really cool -- my girlfriend loved the style. The big problems are a total lack of air conditioning (the AC units they have don't cool any part of the room whatsoever) and the area surrounding the hotel. There's about a one block radius where it's decent, and beyond that, […] it's an extremely sleazy part of town. Simply walking to the gas station to buy a soda led to me being asked by a random passerby whether I wanted drugs. It was pretty strange. Still, if you're renting a car and the weather's not too hot (IE you can handle a lack of AC), I do recommend the hotel, the staff is great and the design is wonderful. Very cute boutique hotel. It is such a shame it is in such a fringe area. The neighborhood is now a minority area & scary. But the hotel was very cute, loved the white duvet colors, very crisp and clean. Loved the white shower curtain and white accessories. This is a great hotel for the money it is located right downtown from the arena and shopping. Also offers free wifi and free parking BIG PLUS! Its still a Motel and you pay way to much for what ou get. Very small bathroom, good luck figuring out lights/ceiling fans.

Heading to the hotel we had to pass through a ghetto. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and hoped the hotel was past the ghetto, but I was mistaken. It was still within a block of a pack of vagrants asking for money and dilapidated building were every where. Once there the front desk clerk seemed forced to have to greet us and could care less that […] we were there. We were told that the room would be ready by noon and it was not ready until 2pm. When we finally got to our room it was nice with an art deco feel, but the toilet yelled at you went it was flushed (funniest part of the stay). We asked for a wake up call for 9am and didn't get one. We asked the front desk clerk, "why we didn't get one" and she said yet again seeming not to care, that she probably just forgot. So after all this I was really looking forward to the continental breakfast they promised when you book. Sadly there definition of a continental breakfast was small boxes of cereal, milk and OJ that has been siting out (mind you that its 95 degrees out side where this is) and begal with a dirty toaster. I used N.Y.B.H. as a stop over during transit to the Caribbean. It was fine. Although I changed airport noise for road noise as it's on the main M1 road. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. It has some character and good facilities. hotel with no phone, ac was not cooling, light was out of order

We were pleasantly surprised by the newer condition of the New Yorker Boutique. We got our reservation last minute for spring break weekend so were glad to find a halfway decent place. The management was very friendly and helpful, the room was freshly painted, brightly colored, and smelled new. Free continental breakfast each morning was quite good […] quality. Linens were fresh and clean each day. Bed and linens were also in new condition. Pool was clean and well maintained. Staff brought us towels as we sat out one day. Free wireless internet in room was a real bonus. Only drawbacks were very small drive and parking area, and very thin walls and ceilings, so lots of noise from other patrons day and night. The hotel clearly knew this was a problem and provided packs of earplugs on the table in the room! This is an awful place to stay - so much so that we left after one night. It was not so much a 'boutique hotel' as a motel next to a busy road with a nice paint job. Apart from the lovely staff, the rest was miserable - most importantly the plastic mattress covers but also the hilariously loud and long toilet flushes. Das Motel befindet sich an einer stark befahrenen Strasse (es werden Ohrenstöpsel zur Verfügung gestellt), somit ist es je nach Lage des Zimmers sehr laut! Bei Regen wird das Frühstück in einem kleinen Raum serviert, denn der Garten hat keine Schirme! Parkplätze hat es genug.

Mais um típico motel americano, com boa limpeza e estado de conservação dos quartos. Os atendentes são muito simpáticos e sempre dispostos a ajudar, assim como o dono. A localização é excelente, próximo de vários destinos interessantes! Vi stannade 6 nätter. Man får vad man betalar för på något sätt. Det är ett MOTELL inte ett HOTELL som det står här. Det är litet men rent och snyggt, städas varje dag. Poolen ser mycket bättre ut på bilderna än i verkligheten. Frukosten var ingen höjdare... Jätte trevlig personal som hjälper till med allt! Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits au New Yorker Boutique,le propriétaire est très acceuillant, toujours souriant.Les chambres sont petites mais propres,la salle de bain en particulier la douche ne m'a pas plus (cheveux et salletés) et chaque fois que l'on tire la chasse ,un vrai boucant!D'ailleurs on sait quand un voisin tire sa chasse.
