"Stay Away"
The taxi driver was not able to find the place which gives you the first clue. We found it later, there was no sign, just a piece of paper on a wall. We rang the doorbell and were let in. There was no lobby and we were told go to the 4th floor where we found a door, again with no sign, we knocked on it and rang a bell for 15 min but no one ever answered. "Quartier ancien.Prés des ramblas et au centre vill"
C'est davantage un "bed and breakfast" pour des étudiants ou en famille à la rigueur... Confort d'un grand appartement des années trente. Salle de bain commune et limite, ainsi que la cuisine. Internet ne fonctionne pas. Bruyant la nuit dans les rues adjacentes. Le prix est attractif. L'accueil est compliqué car il est impossible de trouver l'hôtel […] si "on" ne vient pas vous chercher après un appel téléphonique... [L'adresse ne correspond à rien !!!] C'est un coin de place dans le Vieux Barcelonne ! CE N'EST PAS UN HOTEL ! Bref pour des vacances pas chères c'est "OK" ! "Beware of the extra charges"
Our stay in Gabriel's House was nice after the initial hassle with paying the accommodation with PayPal and accepting the 5 % "service charge" that came out of nowhere. The instruction mail sent from hotel was also very hard to follow - I'm a finance and IT senior professional with perfect school grades, and I would have missed critical steps without […] my spouse helping out... The place itself is a loft-style apartment that has separate lockable rooms for each guest, and common shower and kitchen facilities. There was no running water in the toilet handwash, but apart from that everything was ok and relatively clean. "Gabriel's House - som inte är ett hotell"
Vi blev grundlurade. Gabriel's House är inget hotell utan endast en lägenhet som ägs av Gabriel. Han var dock jättetrevlig och vi trivdes i lägenheten (som vi delade med 9 andra personer). Jag skulle verkligen rekommendera att bo här om man inte har någontng emot att dela badrum, kök och vardagsrum med andra. Lägenheten var dock rätt stor och vi tyckte […] inte att det var några problem. Problemet låg hos hotels.com. Vi hade läst att "hotellet" hade reception, restaurang och att man kunde köpa frukost för 3 euro. Det hela kändes som ett skämt. Vi har absolut ingenting emot Gabriel som var hur trevlig som helst och välkomnade oss dit. Men hur kan hotels.com ljuga så mycket? Har de ingen koll på sina "hotell"? 詳情Hotels.com 旅客真實的評價
