"Rooms Lack Cleanliness"
First room checked into had curly black hairs and dried pee on the toilet seat. Second room checked into had empty candy wrappers and condem wrappers in one drawer with some change. The room was very comfortable with all amenities of large motel chains. I was disappointed though, after a long day of driving, that there was no ice available. "An adequate without amenities motel in Rice Lake"
Black Bear Motel had the "bare" essentials. Towels very thin, one soap, no shampoo, bed was a queen with a double-sized blanket, no continental breakfast as indicated on Expedia. I believe high speed internet was complimentary, but we didn't see any hook-ups. Also, everything had to be plugged in -- tv, frig, microwave -- in order to use.
