Clean, quality service of the hotel. The price for room we stayed was very good. We will stay there again if we visit Hangzhou again.

This hotel is so nice! A bit expensive for what I would like for China, but it was well worth it. We stayed in 4 different cities, and in 3 of them, we stayed in less fancy hotels. We called the day before our arrival to ask them to keep our rooms as we will only be arriving after midnight. We were told to rest assured. Upon arrival we were told their rooms are full and they will arrange an alternate hotel room for us. Not only did we waste time to move to another hotel, we then had to pack and unpack again to stay another night […] at the Wyndham Hangzhou. Although the front desk manager apologized profusely and we were being put up in Marriott (with the manager escorting us there personally), it was a bad start to our trip. We were upgraded to club room when we moved back to Wyndham, but given so much moving around I must say we didn't get to enjoy the rooms as much as we'd like to. Service staff were very friendly and offered suggestions on restaurants while we were waiting for others in our party at the lobby. We were told they were booked out for that Saturday and Sunday, and even on the Monday, they were 80% full. I can only imagine that therefore our experience is not unique and I hope fellow travelers will have a better way of ensuring that their room is available upon arrival, if they are arriving late. The hotel is located near West Lake, but, it is far from Hangzhou downtown. Not much nightlife nearby and it's about 15 to 20 mins walk to Hangzhou xintiandi. The room is spacious and comfortable with huge bathroom. We booked deluxe room and it comes with small balcony facing mountain and the amusement park.
