"A better than expected Hotel"
Hotels.com 旅客於 2013年02月20日留下評價I find the size of the hotel is better than expected. It was listed as a 3 stars hotel. I didn't expect a lot at the beginning. When I arrived at the hotel, I find the room was new and the size is so big. There is a small living room and kitchen (with stove and sink) for cooking. Also, there were 2 TV inside the room. The room is comfortable and clean. It was easy to find restaurants and 7-11 nearby. Overall, a good experience.

Hotels.com 旅客於 2013年02月20日留下評價三人行，住家庭客房，整體住宿環境是還可以的，離火車站近，食肆多，可是附近擺賣的、招生意的不少，有點滋擾。房間方面，wifi是假的，有但常斷線，所以還是買電話卡吧；浴室不行，一洗澡就滿地濕濕的，連要更換的衣物都沒法子放，要用毛巾包着才能幸保不濕。床上用品都蠻舒服的，但衣架太少，擺放行李有點不方便，景色就別提了，反正別刻意去看就對了。至於早餐，就是很一般的學生餐廳能提供的吧，反正不要期望過高就對了，以三星酒店來說，還是可接受的，就是很基本的便捷酒店就對了。

Hotels.com 旅客於 2013年02月19日留下評價大門口夠敝寬，感覺好舒服, 於路口亦有指示牌，給予客人明確的指引﹗我抵達酒店時大概5點半，當天職員 (兩位男職員，忘記名稱) 親切有禮，並很友善，亦好樂意為客人解答問題。但亦有幾點希望 酒店可以改進: 1. 由於抵達時間已為黃昏，但房間未進行清理，所以房間未能即時提供給我們，等候時間大約35分鐘，雖然職員亦很有禮告知我們，但作為酒店，退房時間應下午12-1時，很難理解為何5點半仍未能及時提供給客人? 2. 房間地毯十分骯髒!! 簡直不能接受，雖然酒店是新開張，可能是清理房間時間不充足，但不可能地毯如此骯髒，亦見到開始變黑，甚至有紙巾碎，這是令我十分不滿之地方

I changed from Star Hotel to this Hotel right beside the Guangzhou Train Station East, whch is about 100 M stroll from the Guangzhou Train Stattion. Boy was I surprised at how nice this Hotel was as compared to other nearby Hotels for nearly the same price. Rooms were clean. modern, and guests were professionally welcomed. There was a Business event […] in the hotel with welcome drinks, finger food, and entertainment for Canton Fair Guests that made my visit perfect. I met personally with the General Manger, Charles Yeung who made all efforts to make me feel welcome and part of this Hotel's professional approach towards international business travelers. In comparison it is clear this Hotel is now going to be my home in this city from now on. We have an enjoyable time staying at Jianguo hotel. The staff are extremely helpful, cheerful and friendly. They helped us to book train tickets to HK, greet n smile at us whenever we met them and often asked us how's our day. It is such attentiveness and eager to serve service staff that makes such a big difference to choose to stay with them. "Great Value for Money."
Location is excellent, right across the road from the subway and railway system so you can go anywhere in the city or beyond. It is located in a very pleasant part of Guangzhou. In terms of value for money it could not be better. People rave about the breakfast on this site but I found that while there was a lot on offer the actual quality is not terrific, […] so I would recommend you book the room only rate and go into the community for breakfast at half the price or less. The rooms seem to have been updated recently so other than the somewhat early 90s lobby and main dining room it has an almost new feel to it on the residential floors. The Westin is two minutes away which costs two to three times as much but does not give such value for money as this hotel. "great but indoor lobby area not climate controlled"
overall great but you must bundle up while eating breakfast in the morning while using the indoor brealfast buffet they keep the front lobby doors wide open and it males the lobby downstairs and the b-fast buffet 2nd floor in the high 40's - mid fifties (and thats in doors during the winter months !!! crazy why they leave the "barn doors wide open !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
