"Skip Waterford"
Staff was the strongest asset to Portee. Very welcoming, helpful and accomodating. Room was tiny, and shower built for an anorexic as no normal sized adult could fit. Neighborhood a little "sketchy" with some seedy bars and several adult book stores nearby. "Waterford B & B"
Our family stayed here one night during our trip to Ireland. Our room was comfortable but it had large windows which would not close properly and it got very chilly. The surrounding area was not the nicest, and there was a fire escape right out the window so it made us a bit nervous. Note - no shampoo or soap was provided for the shower so come prepared. Hyggelig betjening. Hotellet er gammelt, - det er nesten som om tiden har stått stille ett eller annet sted i mellomkrigstiden, men det har sjarm, og det er rent. Hva som er årsaken til at det bare er 2 stjerner på dette hotellet, kjenner ikke vi til, for det holder samme (eller bedre) standard enn lignende hotell vi overnattet på i Dublin. De kunne […] like gjerne hatt 3 stjerner. Det er lett å finne fram til hotellet - greit for en utlending på tur (selv om mange sikkert bruker GPS).
