"Daintree Wilderness Lodge - not in Cape Trib!"

The accommodation was very basic for the excessive amount we paid. It is basically a small, cramped cabin in the rainforest, which smelt of damp and was very chilly during the night, as there was no heating in the room. However our biggest issue with the accommodation was that it was not in Cape Tribulation, as advertised on the Hotels.com website. […] It is in Alexandra Bay, which is just outside Cow Bay. We had to travel 30 mins (60 min round trip) on a winding road to visit Cape Tribulation, which really ate into our holiday time. Although our hosts were pleasant enough and the breakfasts ok, we were really disappointed and would much rather have stayed closer to the centre of things in Cape Tribulation. We will not be staying here on our next trip, or recommending it to our friends. 詳情

Fantastische locatie, mooie accommodatie en een goede service. Je bent echt in het tropisch regenwoud en 's nachts hoor je allerlei geluiden van vogels en dieren.
