Stayed here this past weekend with my fiance'. Really nice comfortable king bed room with semi nice view on the corner. Very clean and decent updates throughout. Definitely a go-to place when we go back.

Nice place right on the beach. It was a 15 minute drive to Jamaica Beach and the rooms were clean and roomy.

Very good stay. Staff was very helpful and professional. our only issue were bed pillows were too small and smelled like chemicals!

I had not stayed at this hotel before but was looking for affordable lodging close to Moody Gardens for an overnight stay with my oldest daughter. It was literally a few minutes away, too! The beds were comfortable and provided a good night's rest! The AC worked fine. The bathroom was fairly spacious, clean and in good shape! Breakfast was adequate, but then we ate when it was almost over, so we can't complain. Parking lot and garage was sufficient and accommodating. stayed for local robotics competition. location was nice, easy access. linens were fresh, berber carpet had unpleasant "sticky" feeling of excess dirt combined with shampoo residue that hadn't been rinsed. perhaps it's common to all hotels this close to the seawall, but unpleasant nonetheless. AM breakfast was lackluster.

The employees of the hotel could not have been any nicer. Although the morning my son and I are going to be leaving me had to kill a huge roach in the bathroom. Did not leave me with good feelings.

Rooms has mold in bathroom, carpet worn, beds worn, you could see light around the balcony door ( no seal?) great location/ breakfast was good..but this hotel definitely needs work.

Hotel was very clean. Room was comfortable and breakfast was adequate. Both hot and cold selections. Shuttle to the port was convenient and parking was available. Much less expensive than staying near the ship.

We have stayed at several hotels in the West End of Galveston over the last few months as we have been renovating a house nearby. This was the best of the lot... clean, quiet, comfortable, modern, and super-clean, uncrowded breakfast area. Perfect for short stays; we even had a decent view of water.

Arrived around 2:30 and was quickly checked in...the room was CLEAN and ready! It was very quiet and relaxing..we will be back in the future!!!

Hotel was very nice. Parking was a bit tight until check in. It was down and away from a lot of activity which I loved. It was quiet close to the water and everything was easily accessible either walking or driving.

We were coming back from a cruise and needed a place to stay. Everything was good. The staff was nice except for the evening lady when we asked if the Hot tub was working and she was short and seemed upset we would even talk to her. Would have been 4 and 5 ratings all around, were it not for 2 problems. My room was usually not cleaned until late afternoon or early evening, and the elevator would not go up from the parking floor for the last two days there. We had to use the stairs to get up to the first floor each time we came in.

The door to the patio had a faulty door knob and all that held it closed was the dead bolt. The striker was gone or worn out. It was very windy and the door kept banging back a forth until we wedged a towel in the door to stop the banging. Then, we had to drape towels to keep the cold wind from entering our room. The water in the bath/shower had one […] control arm. The first time I showered, the control arm came off in my hand. There was no set screw. The second day we stayed, when we returned from breakfast, housekeeping had already serviced our room, and they left one of the old sheets laying in the floor by the dresser. It was obvious there was remodling going on, but no noise was heard..thanks! But there was a bit of a mess on the 2nd floor. Beds could be softer- but room was clean and quite..we opened the door and listened to the ocean waves at night..so peaceful! thanks!

Nice quiet and clean atmosphere. The view was amazing and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodated our needs. The continental breakfast was nice and everything was to our liking.

Service was great, after the change of rooms. Very musty smell to the hall ways & rooms. The balcony door did not lock. I let the front desk know at check at. They need to do something about the smell..

Waited 10 min before anybody came to front desk to check in, whole hotel hot and musty, mold on ceiling in room, door to balcony rusted and hard to close, hair in "clean" bathroom and shower. GROSS. Not worth money paid. Only upside was breakfast.

It was okay for tor the money. The staff was the best part of our visit. One of your front desk employess who was around my age was super nice and accommodating. Our cleaning lady and maintenance man (I guess) were great also.

Requested additonal coat hangers and received none. Unable to log onto internet and staff unable to help. Room had a persistent mildewy/moldly smell. Size of the room and the view from the balcony were good. We probably won't stay there again.

I usually stay at San Luis or galvez but this time I thought I'd give another hotel a try and let me tell u that I'll be going back to my other hotels because this one wasn't so clean. I saw employees walk by past trash on floor and wouldn't even pick it up. Ac wasn't cold enough and had a very bad location. We took a quick trip to Galveston and wanted a room with an ocean view. Our third floor room faced directly to the ocean. The room was clean, soft beds, nice pillows, plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 kids. The bathroom was clean, clean shower curtain. The air worked nicely. The only down side was hearing the traffic a little while trying to fall asleep, […] but you have to consider that most the hotels are directly on the main road that parallels the shoreline. Galveston hotels are not directly on the beach, but across the main road from the beach, a very short walk. Breakfast had a very good selection, cereals, yogurts, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, bagels, toast, English muffins, scrabbled eggs, boiled eggs, biscuits, bacon, Canadian bacon, oatmeal, coffee, tea, juices. Our room was cleaned while we were out around Galveston. There was a small section of beach down the road. You can park next to the seawall to get to it in order not to have to cross traffic. There was an area with more shoreline, beach area, further down the street. All in all, we were pleased with our stay. Our kids enjoyed the pool and breakfast. We would stay here again. 詳情
