底特律湖假日酒店 (Holiday Inn Detroit Lakes) - 底特律湖

Arrived for an overnight stay, check in was great. Asked about local dining and was given lots of great local places as well as recommendation for the Hotel dining room. Decided to try it, good food and decent prices. The Mgr even gave us a room upgrade after talking to us. Very caring staff, would recommend to anyone.

The hotel was beautiful, resturant was great, but we did not get any sleep. Our room faced the parkinglot, which also was next to a train track. The train went by all night! We were also next to an icemechine! The other guests on our floor where so loud, we could not sleep at all. Was so disipointed in the noise level. I would not return again.

Hotel was right on the water, has beach bar/patio. We went on the weekend and our rooms had the balcony that was closest to the bar but looked out to the water. There was a 21yo birthday bash and bachelorette. We take the weekend get aways into consideration that there will be a little more noise, but we weren't bothered by it. We joined in on the fun […] till we were done and let their party go on. Staff was very good at cleaning up the patio and keeping it presentable. The rooms were amazingly comfortable. One concern was we witnessed a close - call in the water with a little girl who was struggling to get her ground in the water. Her mother and friend were on the patio. The kids were ranging from 1 1/2 - 6yrs old all by the water with no life jackets. I wish that the hotel would maybe enforce the need for lifejackets on kids under a certain age or enforce parents in the water with small children. I am a nurse and there is no fun in doing CPR on a child. Luckily before I climbed over my railing the mom rushed into the water at the last minute and saved the poor girl. Phew! 詳情

The front desk staff was extremely helpful and went out of their way to help us with driving directions, etc.

Did not have any carts to carry luggage. Ended up loosing a $250 camera. Got a run-a-round dealing with lost and found.

Hotel was a good place to stay before, but it has gone thru a modern renovation which makes the hotel a gem. New beds, decor, and a nicely laid out new pool area (indoors). Rooms are clean modern, and up to date with the usual features found in a chain hotel. Free wireless provided by ACS, the local broadband provider worked well and had a good signal […] even at the far ends of the hotel. I recommend this hotel for its location and for the ammenities it offers at a great rate! 詳情

If you paid in advance-make sure they don't bill you again. Either they can not understand the system of Hotels.com or they can't read. Was doubled billed and totally ruined my stay.
