It was a beautiful chateau on nice ground. There was a lake in front with two magnificent white swans and a field of white cows next door. It was a very pleasant experience.

Beautiful grounds and buidings just on the outskirts of Bayeux. Not a city hotel - more of a B and B. Expensive breakfast if all you want is a roll and cup of coffee. No AC, can be stuffy in September. But if charm and peacefulness are top priorities this hotel is hard to beat.

Charming and elegant. In quiet country-like setting ithin walking distance of center of Bayeux. First class staff.

This is a beautiful and very clean hotel in a lovely setting. It is much nicer than the other three star rating properties we stayed at in the area. I would highly recommend it!

This is not a "hotel" as most Americans would think of the experience. This compares more to a bed and breakfast experience. It's a fabulous 150 year old chateau on beautiful spacious grounds in a quiet setting about a 15 minute walk from the center of Bayeux - a Norman town more than 1,000 years old. Delightful country house in lovely grounds with a moat and lots of exotic ducks. Room very comfortable. Good breakfast. 15 minutes walk into Bayeaux for dinner where there are some very good restuarants. Would recommend to others.

The Chateau and surrounding grounds were beautiful, a really ideal setting. However, we were in the Annex which is totally modern and over 3 floors with the toilet being on the ground floor with the living room, the shower room on the second level, and the bedroom at the top. So the layout was inconvenient.

We booked the best looking D-Day beach tour and then realized it started from Bayeux while we were in Paris! It was a full day so we needed to overnight in Bayeux, which the Tapestry and the Cathedral made very worthwhile. But the Chateau was so perfect we were thrilled with the way things turned out. Room 5 was newly redecorated, brand new beautiful […] bath with lovely big tub. Windows overlooking the garden were fabulous and the sumptuous decoration of the room perfect. Our internet price was a super bargain. We wish we could have had dinner there but there was a (quiet, non-obtrusive) group activity of some kind there that night; breakfast was delightful. I have already recommended the Chateau to the tour company we used as well as everyone else I know in Paris! 詳情

Hotel und Umgebung sehr gepflegt. Zimmer groß, Betten bequem, Bad geräumig, Ausstattung allgemein sehr gut. Wie fast überall in Westfrankreich: kein deutscher Fernsehkanal, sodass man wirklich Urlaub machen konnte.

Wij waren verrast over de mooie zeer ruime kamer, goed onderhouden en schoon voor een zeer redelijke prijs. Wij hadden kamer nr. 1 met een prachtige badkamer

Splendido hotel ricavato da un antico maniero,immerso nel verde ,curatissimo in ogni suo particolare dotato di arredi d'epoca ed ogni confort moderno. La stanza (previlege) era immensa con addirittura un caminetto e arredata con gusto. Il personale gentilissimo e discreto. Ottima la colazione con prodotti freschi ed un buon assortimento.
