Apex Waterloo Place Hotel - 愛丁堡

Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a higher floor so that we could have a better view. Bed was so comfortable I could have stayed there and slept for 24 hrs, but we had to leave! Bathroom had a bath which was very welcome when most accommodation has very pokey bathrooms. Will definitely stay here again when back in Edinburgh.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise, the room was great, quiet, and modern. Loved it and I will be staying at Apex hotels more often. A couple of observations, anyone with bulky luggage arriving by train may not want to follow the walking directions to the hotel provided on their website, it involves going up and down a couple of flights of stairs. 2 nights in Edinburgh made stress free by the staff of the Apex Waterloo Place Hotel. Friendly and interested. The hotel was spotless. The room was immaculate. A 3 course meal in the restaurant was first class. Recommend to all!

Great value for money. Good size rooms. Staff were very helpful and held our cases as we arrived before check in time. When we went back to check in staff had put our cases in our room already. Would definately stay there again.

Our bags were lost when we landed in Edinburgh and as soon as we got to the hotel and told them, one of the receptionists called the airline immediately and got on the case. When we got to our room, I didn't like it because I prefer rooms facing the street rather than the interior. LINDA, the concierge was AMAZING! She had a wealth of information and she was genuinely interested in us having a good experience. She gave us plenty of pointers and information places to visit. We were on a short city break. The weather was not the best, so we availed of the food in the bar more than we usually would on such trips. We found it very good and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Location was great. Would recommend.

Lovely hotel in the new part of town. Just a 15 minute walk through town to some of the main tourist attractions (Castle, Palace) and in a great neighborhood, close to lots of shops and restaurants. Try a walk down Leith Walk to explore the more local/ethnic cuisine that Edinburgh has to offer.

The prices listed for breakfast seemed expensive, but there are plenty of nice eateries nearby, more reasonably priced. Excellent concierge and generally the hotel was the standard I expect of the Apex. The spa was a little cold in the areas between the pool and steam rooms but that's a minor niggle.

We've stayed here before and found the hotel to be excellent. As before we found the staff to be friendly and helpful and the double room was clean and spacious. The hotel is just a five minute walk from the train station, and our main reason for staying, the Edinburgh Playhouse. We had a great time and would highly recommend the Apex Waterloo.

We had a superior room but when we arrived it was stiflingly hot. When we turned down the heating ( it had been set at 27 degrees) we noticed a horrendous damp smell throughout the room and bathroom. As we were only saying one night and were going out for the night we didn't bother to ask for a move. The bar area was very nice but can't comment on breakfast as we declined the offer - £10 each is a bit steep even in Edinburgh. Overall a great place to stay for a getaway, facilities top notch as were the staff. Restaurant was affordable and the atmosphere welcoming. My partner had a couple if spa treatments and was over the moon. Gum and pool very adequate for being in a city centre hotel.

We stayed at the Apex Waterloo hotel for Hogmanay and everything was spectacular. The hotel was very sleek and modern and the service was unbelievable. Everyone on the staff was very friendly and helpful! We actually arrived early and early check in was not an issue. It was very easy to walk to from the Waverley train station and all other popular attractions […] (prince street, royal mile, calton hill, castle, arthur's seat, etc.). The hotel is very close to everything but noise is not an issue because it is right out of the hustle and bustle of the center of the city. Even during Hogmanay (the New Year's celebration/one of the busiest times of the year) we didn't experience any problems with noise. To top it all off the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. We chose this hotel because it's close to Waverley and Princes Street and has a pool, much appreciated after a long day's travel with my eight-year-old. I could tell right away that the hotel catered more to adults than kids, but both the morning and evening staff went out of their way to be kind to my son, so no problem there. We spent a long weekend in Edinburgh, checking in Thursday night and checking out Sunday. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we knew we'd chosen the right place. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The whole experience even finding our room just screamed quality - the décor, the atmosphere, it all left a great impression, a nice balance […] between quality/class and a modern & contemporary feel. The room was perfect; the bed was great, large and comfortable; the bathroom clean and well equipped; even the little touches like the DVD player as well as the TV meant that when the weather wasn't too nice, we could watch what we wanted, perfect if you want to spend an evening in bed. The location of the hotel is ideal for visiting the more tourist-y parts of Edinburgh, very close to Princes St, Waverley and the buses to the airport and not far from the Royal Mile and the Castle or George St. A nice little touch is the exit out onto Calton Road, 5 floors below the reception on Waterloo Place - ideal for the station or grabbing a coffee from Starbucks. We only ate breakfast at the hotel on our last day there but it was just as good as the rest of the hotel, even though Sunday is one of their busiest days for breakfast and we weren't up particularly early, we were seated quickly, the food came quickly and was delicious. I really couldn't find any fault with this hotel. We're already planning our next visit to Edinburgh and we won't be looking at any other hotels. 詳情
