A port town, Portimao is known for its fish restaurants and shopping. The former cluster around the dock though its once-famous old-style eateries have been replaced by modern outlets. Boat trips also depart from the quayside. Portimao is the regional shopping centre, noted for leather, shoes and clothes, and its weekly market attracts large crowds. Close by, Praia da Rocha is a busy resort which boasts one of the Algarve’s most spectacular beaches.

checked in 10 min early but room was not ready but helpful staff took care of our bags. had room on 2nd floor,2 windows overlooking a narrow street but this did not prevent us sleeping as area is quite but very central. A t times there appeared to be a strong musty odour in the hallway outside our room but we felt that it might be as a result of narrow […] hallways without windows. The hotel was clean and this was the only problem that we encountered but it would not put us off returning for short visits. It has a taxi and bus rank close by and is a short walk to main square. A good shopping area is also a 5 or 10 minute stroll. Dining area in hotel is on 6th floor and has great views over the harbour. breakfast was adequate. our stay was short and was value for what we paid. 詳情

GEEN ENKELE PLAATS OM TE PARKEREN? DUS MET WAGEN OF HUURAUTO AFTE RADEN WIFFI NIET GRATIS, alleen werkzaam met een kaart van 3 €per uur, kaarten waren op, dus geen wiffi., in deze moderne tijd niet meer denkbaar.

Veldig mange tilbud på hotellet. Flott utsikt over hele byen fra restaurang og bar. Veldig bra shopping og spisesteder innenfor en kort spasertur. Veldig trang og interresant by med mye å se. Kan anbefales---litt plundrete å sette fra seg en bil--men ellers gav hotellet en "god magefølelse"
