The front desk staff were very pleasant and seemed happy to answer all of our questions. We really liked that the slide and pool were open long hours and had lifeguards. A wonderful place if you have young children.

It was awesome. The rooms were clean, good service, and a water slide that my children loved to boot. The only reason I gave a 4 on hotel service is there is no continental breakfast. There is a restaurant in the hotel. But, it as a great visit. I would go again.

We stay at this hotel somewhat regularly and have always been pleased. Despite a large wedding going on during our stay, our room (and the halls) were quiet all night! The room size is generous, parking is plentiful, and the location is nice (if you're unfamiliar with Stevens Point, you can get anywhere you need to be within 10 minutes). Lovely hotel. Comfy beds. Amber Grill food is quite tasty and the service is quick. Great location to the soccer fields. Kids loved the pool. They were very accommodating about late checkout.

This was by far one of the nicest Holiday Inn's we have stayed at. The pool was wonderful for kids of all ages. The beds were excellent! We will stay here again.

Realljy enjoyed our stay. The staff were AWESOME. The bed and room, 10++++. The clerk that check us out, ask how things were? My answer- I want to take the bed home. The Holiday Inn Convention Center is a great getaway in a place where there isn't a whole lot to do. They have a welcoming atmosphere, a good location just a short walk from some stores and restaurants and a short drive up to HH where there are quite a few more shopping/dining options, and a nice restaurant/bar in the hotel. You can smell chlorine up […] and down the first floor hallway because of the pool, so I'd advise those who are sensitive to stay on upper floors but the pool and arcade rooms are great for the kids. Oh, and the bartenders aren't very seasoned. If your drink of choice isn't Jack and Coke, you should be prepared to give them explicit instructions on how to make it. 詳情

At 9 am, housekeeping was knocking on hotel doors, even though checkout was 11 am. This caused momentary panic that we were running late! Even after we realized we still had time to depart, we felt rushed. The front desk staff was very accommodating. The pool/waterslide lifeguards made sure that the kids had a great time. Lindsey (staff member) was awesome, making sure the kids had fun and still followed the rules.

Wonderful stay at a top notch hotel for a reasonable price. The Front Desk personnel were exceptional in their genuine sincerity of making me welcome at this hotel upon check in. Additionally they were able to accomodate a request I had for a different room. The only comment I would make beyond the stay was exceptional is be aware you will see a Holiday […] Inn Express from Eastbound Hwy 10 first, the Holiday Inn Convention Center is just beyond the Express so it would be good if the Convention Center H.I. could get a sign pointing to them and Express pointing the other way. Very disappointed - slide was the only reason we stayed at this hotel for double the price of another hotels.com deal in Wausau, WI. In addition, we were sold on the King size bed and I know those beds were not King size - very disappointed to not have been able to use the slide with our children and then to have uncomfortable and small beds.

Very nice hotel. Friendly staff. Rooms are nice and clean. Only problem we had was with temperature regulation in room. Cooling unit was replaced previous week and not set to correct setting. Maintenance came up promptly and corrected. Humidity was high in room and didn't cool the greatest. I had a romantic plan. When I asked the front desk to bring my flowers up, which I had special delivered from MN, I sat waiting for 45 minutes. I then took the 2 minutes, to walk down to the front desk to get the flowers. I was told that they saw a do not disturb sign and they didn't want to interrupt. I highlighted that the do not disturb sign had […] been removed when we came in the hotel 10 minutes earlier. She then replied that they hadn't really bothered to check. They made no effort to actually verify if the DND sign was there after I called. You'd think that if a guest calls and asks something to be brought up to the room, that the staff would actually bring it up to the room and then if there was a sign, actually call the room instead of just letting their guest sit and wait with no feedback, phone call, knock on the door, or anything of that nature.
