Though close to the airport, we didn't hear any planes, though we did hear a couple of trains in the distance; all in all, a very worthwhile place to stay due to friendliness and helpfulness of the staff + reasonable prices. Forgot to mention gourmet coffee and tea!

This is an excellent bargain near the airport and Cascade shopping area. Staff (Jay) was extremely courteous and the room was very clean. Rooms are not large but adequate. For this low rate, this quiet motel is a gem. Our room had two separate rooms, each with a queen bed, tables and cable TV. Would stay again in a minute!

My stay at this motel was nice once they fixed a problm w/the initial room they gave me(switched to another room).It is a nice clean hotel in a area that has small older strip motels and the owners do a good job to make it a nice friendly stay.

Man at desk during check in was very friendly and accomodating. We checked in at night for a super early PDX flight the next morning. Slept well- quiet, bed was comfortable. Took 10 minutes to get to the airport in the morning. Very convenient and rate was excellent. Will stay here again when using PDX airport.

We stayed in one of the 2 room suites which was clean and well-maintained. If you're travelling with kids the East Portland Community Center is about a 10 minute drive and has water slides and a lazy river.

The Nordic motel was outstanding. I needed to check in early to store some items for work and Jay was super helpful. All Rooms have fridges/microwave/dvd player. The motel itself is very clean very comfortable and clearly newly remodeled. However, the neighborhood is a little shady and the motel itself had a few odd things about it. Right in front of our room was what looked like an abandoned vehicle. completely filled with trash and hundreds of plastic bags containing? I asked the clerk and she said he has […] been there at least a year, with a shrug? Later another woman wondered around outside in a robe smoking. Just before I left another woman came outside and gave her child to someone who pulled up in a car and then a lexus rolled in and took her away! There were 5-6 cars there but it seemed quite deserted at all times....Geez...i was really looking forward to this place due to reviews. The hotel room was very clean. Doesn't look so great on the outside and not fancy on the inside. If you want clean and economical then this is your place. Folks at the front desk were very nice.

I enjoyed my stay here. Easy to check in although they have a $20 cleaning deposit that isn't mentioned anywhere until you check in. However the room was clean, lots of amenities, and polite service. Close to the airport.

What a find the Nordic Motel is! Small rooms but fresh and clean, nicely furnished,with the amenities I most want -- free high speed internet, microwave and refrigertor, a DVD/CD player, free movies. Very affordable with fridge, cable, microwave, near the airport, the staff was very nice and efficient.

Not many of the smaller family owned motels still exist. Friendly staff! Clean rooms! Close to a train track (just a heads up) however it was very quiet. Cons : no breakfast, 20 min drive into downtown. Will definitely stay there again

This Motel was such a find, and just little jewel! Clean, Supper freindly staff, Good location, easy access to major streets and freeways. I would stay here again and again. I have traveled to near and far so I know hotels and motels...this is a good one, stay here and u will be happy. Remember its not fancy, but who needs fancy to sleep!

They had amazing customer service that is willing to accomadate your needs. The lady was very nice and trusting, which is good in these tough times

Beautiful small motel and very very clean. Chrome and glass was shining. Even the parkinglot was totally clean. Very nice but almost too mush. The room was very small but the bed was great. Very well maintained inside and outside.

You can't complain a whole lot when you are getting the best deal in town. There's a reason everyone is rating this motel higher than the rest in the area. Surprising amenities include a supply of good coffee and various teas at the office, a refrigerator and microwave in each room, and a DVD player as well as TV with premium channels. Clean and well-kept. In fairly industrial area not far from airport, near train tracks.

My boyfriend and I stopped here during our road trip. Tech support was friendly, and the motel itself was quite cozy. Would stay there again, it was very affordable and comfortable.

I will definately stay at this motel again. The only drawback is they do not take pets and I sometimes travel with a little dog. It's a non smoking facility - yeah! The room was clean, smelled good, new linens, attractive, new air conditioner, close to Costco, I-205, 84, airport. 9 miles from downtown Portland. I was impressed with this motel. It is very well run, the rooms are very well appointed and the value for money is excellent. The location near the airport (PDX) is very convenient for people who arrive late or need to depart early. I expect to use this motel on future occasions when I fly to or from PDX.

I didn't know what to expect at first. But the whole property was nice and well taken care of, the office was small but nice. The lady working the counter when I checked in and out was hot and friendly. The room was more like a studio apartment than a hotel room. It had an apartment size fridge and freezer and a full size stove. They even had a DVD […] player in the room that wasn't bolted down with steel straps. Shows me that they trust and have decent clientele. The neighborhood was fine. It was close to train tracks but not close enough that they would wake anyone up at night. I had a pinball machine in the back of my truck and was concerned about it being messed with but after a couple of hours without any people wandering around my concern was gone. Close to the airport but a 30-minute bus ride to the city center. Rooms are very clean, come with tv, DVD player, mini-fridge and small desk. Wifi worked well. Overall a pleasant experience and would stay again without hesitation. Great value for money.

I was totally surprised and bowled over by the this motel. The room was clean, clean, clean!. The bed was more comfortable than beds I've slept in very expensive hotels. The rooms are tastfully painted and decorated. They have the greatest BRIGHT lights so you can actually see that everything IS really clean. Where else do you get granite vanities, […] tile floors in the bath, and double pane windows for this price. We arrived early and where allowed to check-in. Family owned and operated with excellent service, clean and comfortable rooms. Aside from an occasional train, which can't be heard from inside the room, it was pretty quite at night. Max rail is a little ways away, but there was great bus service in front of the motel. There is a $20 refundable deposit […] when you check-in but is refunded upon check-out. Other than that it's a pretty standard check-in. Very satisfied with our stay and would very much recommend this motel to anyone! 詳情

We really enjoyed our rooms, you can tell the owners of this establishment really care about their guest's experience while staying. Place is well maintained, clean, and comfortable. I would definately stay here again next time I am in the area.

The motel is a good value. Queen bed, full range and fridge. Parking right outside the doorway which is nice for unloading your car or watching your motorcycle.

Fantastic hotel. Great value for the price! Clean, great management, helpful, awesome. Definite recommend for a pass through visitor or quick weekend business trip.

I read a ton of reviews before choosing this hotel. It was nice and very clean. It was also very quiet. I did feel safe but would have liked to see an additional lock that can only be opened from the inside. The staff was very professional. The motel was very clean and updated with about new everything. Rooms are small, but nice. Comfortable bed, microwave, refer. I would stay here again even though it is a bit far from the downtown area. One odd thing is that they asked for a cash deposit on check in which they tried to get me to leave when I check out.
