"A step back in time to an oasis of charm"

delightful special hotel. The staff are all wonderful, smiling, helpful and courteous. Very unique building from another era with beautiful furnishings in the public rooms and a welcoming ambience. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location couldn't be better.

Republican glamour, vintage interior and very nice atmosphere in the center of Cuenca's old town. On top of that, professionally run place with great service and very recommendable dining. The comfort of the room is reduced only by the not quite sound-proof doors that lead directly to the patio. This might be a bother if other guests and festivities […] last beyond your bed-time. We made use of a seasonal discount and were happy to be able to end our Ecuador vacations at such a memorable, atmospheric place. 詳情

I am Canadian but live in Loja. We were stranded in Cuenca because the airline lost all of our bags and we couldn't travel because of Censo. The hotel was as the website described. The people working there were very friendly and helpful and because we were stuck in the hotel there were so many thoughtful added perks that we didn't need but that were […] really nice and made it feel much more like home then a hotel. Beds were very comfortable and as we were on the front of the hotel and had a small balcony, the huge doors that closed blocked out the noise from the street which was amazing. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it for people. It's expensive for Ecuador but it's worth it. The hotel is located near the city center which is great if that's where you want to be. For us, it was perfect. 詳情

Overall Santa Lucia is a good hotel . Excelent location, friendly service. However, there are other less expensive options in Cuenca wich offer almost the same quality.
