The hotel has ONE microwave in the lobby ONLY !!!! When we requested one microwave for our room, the attendant at the front desk informed us that the ONLY microwave they have is located in the lobby. Obviously this didn't help particularly that we have a 3 month-old baby on formula. Can you imagine us throughout the night (almost every 2-3 hours) taking […] the elevator down to the lobby to prepare a formula bottle? Another issue with all rooms (I believe) is the heating unit. "Be aware of the nasty grinding noise of the heating unit" when it turns on heat. It is almost unbearable the first night but as time goes on, you sort of get used to it.... I got 3 rooms at hotels.com.than needed 1 more. got xtraroom through the hotel. cost more but worth it. my family enjoyed all the amenities. all were very happy.not having to worry about family while helping daughter with last minute tasks before sundays wedding was a bonus

The airconditioning unit sounded like it was 20 years old, which surprised me given the hotel is new. It woke me up, every time it came on Everything else was fine

Greta place, still 'new' inside, clean and well kept.

The bed was very uncomfortable and the air conditioner did not work very well. Loud noise when it kicked on and off. Did not cool the room. We did not sleep.

I enjoy staying at the Hampton. I have chronic pain so it is necessary to have a comfortable mattress and cover. I had a good night's sleep. The online picture of the pool area was much larger than the actual pool. We did enjoy the pool being open until 11pm. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Bathroom was very spacious, great vanity with lots of room. Great tub and shower. Loved the shower rod that curves out so you don't feel like you're being attacked by the shower curtain when in the shower! Conveniently located close to restaurants etc. nearby. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and accommodating, plenty of restaurants in the area, breakfast was quite good, all of the technology/business center was in good working condition and our family enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Perfect for a weekend get-away for the family.

Great location, great service, clean rooms, good breakfast! Hampton rarely disappoints!

Clean with friendly staff and very accommodating. Air conditioners are quite noisy so if you're a light sleeper could pose a problem.

check in was at 3pm we arrived at 3:35 pm only to be told to come back later our room was not ready. that night trying to sleep 10 o`clock at night kids running up and down the hallway otherwise room,location and staff were nice

This is a nice, handy little hotel that's close to both the highways and some local (albeit chain) restaurants. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a problem during check-in, as we found our (non-smoking) room had been smoked in by some inconsiderate previous guest. Our room was nice and clean the staff for the most part was friendly. Great food. the only problem with the room was it was directly over the pool and one night the pool was full and very noisey and we could here everything in our room until 10:30 pm. also the air conditioner kept coming on and it was quite noisey .

This hotel was quiet, clean and centrally located. All of the things I was looking for. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would absolutely recommend this when staying in the Seacoast area.

Went away for girls weekend to relax and have no worries. The hotel was beautiful and clean. The only thing that disrupted our stay was the fire alarms going off at 3 am. That out a bit of a damper on the weekend. Management was accommodating for the inconvenience. Would recomend this hotel to anyone!

Would have been excellent except for the fact the fire alarm went off at 3AM and everyone had to evacuate the building! Stuck outside in freezing rain for half an hour with no idea what was going on. Obviously a freak thing, everything else was legit. Could have asked for a refund I suppose, but not worth the trouble.

The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. My family with teenagers enjoyed the pool and hot tub and the breakfast was substantial. Easy to find and convenient location. Would definitely stay there again.

We were doing college visits in the area and this hotel filled the bill. It was warm, clean and comfortable. Even though the hotel appeared to be pretty fully occupied, it was extremely quiet at night. We were within walking distance to three or four well known restaurants, which was great after a long day of driving. I would recommend this hotel. The staff was friendly, the hotel was perfectly clean and comfortable. We had 10 rooms for the weekend for a wedding and everyone in our party was satisfied.

Very nice, worth the drive from Kittery to stay in a clean and new room. Everything was very nice.

The quality of the beds and linen were most memorable as they FAR exceeded expectations. In addition, it was nice having the front desk receptions go out of their way to find a wine bottle opener in the kitchen. In the future the front desk should have one right up front.

It was a very beautiful hotel, a bit pricey for one night but it was well worth it. Room was comfortable and the bathroom w/granite counters - exquisite! The pool was very nice and good temperature. They even have complimentary swim diapers for the little ones at the hotel lobby desk (although they were out this time), Internet access to our laptop […] was a bit slow, but we had it! The breakfast was wonderful, waffles, eggs, 4 choices of juice, etc. Overall - it was a beautiful hotel, great room (even awesome pillows) & a great breakfast! The bed & bedding by far the best and most comfortable I have ever encountered. I loved the duvet cover rather than the polyester bedspread one usually gets. The pillows were perfect!! I love the squishy ones, whereas my husband hated them. Just a difference in opinion. The only thing I wish the room had was a refrigerator. Clean, great beds, new, nice staff. Breakfast okay. Nice pool and whirlpool. In strip mall area with chain restaurant options. Exceeded my expectations.
