Set back from the seafront on the western edge of the Esterel Massif, Fréjus Ville has many reminders of its Roman past. Founded by Julius Caesar in 49 BC, it was the oldest Roman city in Gaul. There is a 2nd-century amphitheatre – although today’s gladiatorial audiences come for rock concerts and bullfights – a Roman gate, aqueduct and Roman theatre. Fréjus Plage has safe swimming and sandy beaches. There is a smart marina at Port Fréjus.

"would not spend a week here"
This would not be a 3 star in North America. It was very hard to find (expedia map location was completely wrong), we had a cramped room with no AC (common in France). Kitchen was OK. Really, the pool was the only redeeming feature. We left early...Expedia 旅客真實的評價

ça pourrait être bien seulement c'est infecté de criquets de partout impossible de laisser ouvert une fenêtre de jour comme de nuit de plus pas climatisé donc on crève! Un effort de pierre&vacances pour améliorer on aurait préfèré payé 50 a 100€ de plus.Hotels.com 旅客真實的評價

"Le Hameau liegt ca. 3 km vom Meer entfernt"
Die Anlage ist sehr hellhörig und wirkt recht ungepflegt. Z. B. waren die Liegestühle auf dem Balkon zerbrochen, 7 Glühbirnen kaputt und der Duschkopf war völlig verkalkt. Mit deutschen Ansprüchen sollte man da also nicht hinfahren, auch wenn das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis noch in Ordnung ist. Der Pool ist prima.
