convenient location; helpful staff; overall exceeds my expectation.

這家飯店走約5分鐘可以到交通方便的四条附近... 搭乘京都公車很方便 距離錦市場約8分鐘路程 附近還有24小時超市 最重要的是服務態度很好 下次來京都還要再來住

鄰近地下鐵~但附近只有咖啡室及便利店~晚上不方便膳食~ 酒店服務質數一般~房間內傢俱很多~令空間更顯狹窄~ 內裡有間教堂~看似特別~但不供住客進入及拍照....

飯店地點位於商業區,離地鐵站近(5分鐘),離巴士站稍遠(10分鐘),白天逛完景點,晚上可以繼續逛街購物吃東西,近新京極,及錦市場,非常方便!飯店房間舒適安靜,大廳人員服務100分,僅問一個到達某景點要搭何種交通工具,連時刻表及票價及地圖都一併提供,真是貼心.且這次訂到的價錢又非常實惠,絕對會是下次到京都旅遊的住宿首選!!

大廳很美，電梯很美，很安全，只是靠近大馬路，睡覺時有點吵，交通便利，正對面是星巴克和全家，還有一家24小時超商，但是教堂鐘聲一大清早就會響，真是擾人清夢>"<

飯店 不論空間或設備都相當好，空間夠寬敞浴缸也不像一般商務飯店非常小，飯店整體英式裝潢相當有特色，到京都若沒刻意想要居住日式傳統風格，這也是相當不錯選擇。

交通便利且生活機能佳，附近有超市、便利商店、星巴克以及各式餐廳。客房舒適，訂房時要求禁菸房，也確實提供。飯店附近的地鐵出入口都只有樓梯，大行李從地鐵站提到地面很辛苦，這點是比較麻煩之處，其餘都很滿意！下次來京都一定會再來住！

飯店房間大小適中，床舖也夠大，足以讓一對夫婦與一個四歲的小孩同睡。房間設備齊全，還有加濕氣可供使用。浴室配有一標準浴缸可以泡澡。相當適合來京都旅遊休憩之所。附近有兩家星巴客咖啡，一家商務咖啡店，三家便利商店，一家大型的藥妝店，一家酒類專賣店，生活機能相當好。距離烏丸御池站約3分鐘路程，有大件行李與嬰兒車，請從3號出口，有升降梯；6號出口離飯店最近。

客房乾淨，住起來很舒適。服務人員態度非常好又有禮貌。飯店位置在二條地鐵的的交會處，搭乘地鐵非常方便，如果搭乘公車就比較不方便(沒幾班公車經過)，房內的電視頻道如果能再多一點會更好。飯店內大廳擺設古典，有一間舉辦婚禮用的教堂，很漂亮，有機會可以參觀一下。

飯店離地鐵站只要2min，離公車站也走路只要十分鐘，front desk就有賣 one-day bus pass, 還會親切的指引旅客方向~下次還會再投宿同集團的旅館的!

飯店接待人員非常友善,飯店維持很好,離地鐵很近.CP值很高!!最喜歡的是提供很高級的日式茶包,還教您如何泡!!真的很貼心!!

周圍的環境很舒服,高級.附近有一些不錯的咖啡店,離錦市場也很近,整個飯店是英式風格,物超所值

飯店交通方便，但記得以地下鐵優先，市巴的巴士比較少經過，除非自付100坐循環巴士。 先預訂，有時候優惠很大

1.房間設備齊全，備品品質不錯，住起來很舒服。 2.服務人員很親切，盡力解決房客所有問題。 3.飯店位置鄰近逛街購物、博物館、古蹟景點，附近街弄有很多不錯的特色小店。 整體而言很值得推薦入住喔^^

飯店的外觀很美，房間設計也很有質感且非常舒適，服務態度與品質也很棒，大廳與內部的教堂、餐廳等都漂亮得讓人想用照片紀錄下來，整體與每個細節都令人滿意。附近有便利商店、超商、藥妝店等算方便，交通從烏丸線的烏丸御池站6號出口出來還滿近的。以後有機會再去京都一定會再去住。

飯店地點位於市中心, 交通便利, 而且客房非常舒適寧靜, 是去京都出差旅遊的好選擇.

靠近地鐵站，交通很方便，房間雖小，但乾淨舒適，值得推薦

幾乎沒有什麼好挑剔的了，在日本京都有這麼便宜又棒的飯店夫復何求？非常客氣的接待人員，美美的內部裝潢，齊全的住房設備。雖然我們住的標準Double略小，不過有舒適一大床就足矣。唯一讓人覺得小小不方便的事，如果你拿著超過15kgw的行李箱，要從飯店所述烏丸御池的地鐵6號地下出口往上提到地面會很吃力，建議從4號出口走地上平面，那裡階梯數比較少，這樣走才不會有做苦力的感覺。另外，建議做地鐵到烏丸御池或是四條站比較好因為附近沒有往JR京都方向的巴士公車。

Easily our poorest experience in Japan, though we also stayed in much cheaper (as well as more expensive) hotels. The hotel has high aspirations and a very grand reception area, but the room was very small and stank of smoke. The curtains were stiff and brown with nicotine. Although we had requested a non-smoking room when booking months in advance, […] hotel staff were unhelpful when we complained and made no attempt to rectify the problem. Breakfast was very expensive (2500 yen) for poor quality food, especially the non-Japanese options - we went to a coffee shop after the first day. We stayed for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon. The hotel is located downtown, which is great for seeing a part of "actual" Kyoto instead of being super close to the tourist attractions - but to go to the temples etc, you do have to take the subway or bus. On the plus side, there is a lot to see in Kyoto and it's spread out, and we were centrally located […] to check out any part of town. Our room was very nice and clean, and reasonably sized. The decor was nice too. My only gripe would be that the bar and breakfast costs were very expensive compared to other hotels we stayed in on the trip. They did give us great suggestions for places to go in the neighborhood and staff were friendly and spoke reasonable English. 詳情

The interior had some odd features (you'll find a sizeable church built inside a glass covered hall!) but rather nice. Good location for a hotel if you're a tourist, since Kyoto is not that big you are actually within walking distance from many major sites withing the city center as well as on the outskirts. The welcoming may perhaps not be that bright […] and sunny, but service is efficient and correct. Rooms are rather cosy, and even leaves enough space to open your bags... 詳情

We stayed in Hotel Monterey on April 9-10 2012. The hotel is definitely a solid 3-star, not more, not less. It's very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The spa is great if you like onsen /hot springs. The room we had was very small. We had the breakfast buffet and it wasn't very good but it was very convenient. The hotel is very close […] to the subway. In hindsight we would've stayed in a nicer hotel but Hotel Monterey was as advertised and expected. 詳情

We loved this hotel. It's clean, quiet, centrally-located and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Kyoto has a great vibe to it and this was a great place from which to enjoy exploring. We found it was quite a distance between the 'key' sightseeing areas but the subway was easy to negotiate and the taxis plentiful (though not cheap). If we'd […] have been closer to the station that may have been better but we loved being central and close to the Manga museum, shops of Shijo-dori and the lovely Pontocho street. We were in Kyoto to attend a conference. The accomodations were excellent, the neighborhood was nice and had everything we needed or wanted, and the subway was handy for travel to/from the conference and places we wanted to visit.

My second time staying here, this hotel is great. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms and this hotel is pretty much close to everything. Anything that is out of walking distance can be reached in minutes via subway or taxi. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel Monterrey was very nice. The rooms are very clean, albeit small. It's along the main road, so it's fairly convenient to get to and from the train station (with a cab ride).

The staff are nice with good service. We did like the decoration of the room! Lovel, warm and comfortable. Also, the location is good which is close to railway station and with shops, cafes, resturants, convenience stores and supermarket nearby. You can also talk some walks to the main shopping streets of Kyoto.
