We went up for a special event of trying to obtain a reservation at the French Laundry! Staying at The Lavender could not have been a more exciting exprience! It was wonderful and Marion at the front desk could not have been more gracious, funny, knowledgeable about the area and just plain nice! Our room was excptional. We had a king room with a hot […] tub on the patio which was very relaxing. The whole house is very comfortable and the grounds are immaculate. The breakfast was wonderful and in the afternoon the wine and hors'derves were amazing. The other people staying there were very interesting and friendly. This bed and breakfast is only about a three minute walk around the corner to the French Laundry and very short walking distances to other restaurants and town. I would find it hard to find someone that was not 100% pleased with their stay. We wil defnitely return! 詳情

We came to Lavender Inn as a group so had a few rooms. We were advised that as one of the rooms would be taken by two adults, my sister and my aunt, there was only one suitable. My poor sister was put on a sofa bed that did not accommodate an adult. When she complained the next day the gentleman checking her out laughed and said she was quite right […] that bed is only for children and should not be given to adults. For 250 a night and a twin room request I expect a little more courtesy. The other rooms were nice but we preferred Maison Fleurie up the road. Breakfast was excellent but not child friendly (we had young children). Maison Fleurie did a lovely job of balancing our needs and making us feel welcome whilst balancing needs (peace and quiet!) for other guests. 詳情

Liked the privacy of the rooms. The one we stayed had a separate fenced patio. Wished we stayed longer to enjoy it more. The room and bathroom were large and roomy. The breakfast was average. The Inn is very close to French Laundry if you decide to dine there. You can walk to it.

Our room was like a cozy little cabin. We just loved it. The staff was great (we especially loved Marion!) and, of course, location, location - an easy walk to everything. Can't wait to go back

Less than 5 min walking distance to numerous great restaurants, but make reservations. Hotel staff was friendly and will help w restaurant choices and reservations. One of the nicest staffs ever had in a bed and breakfast gave wine and cheese with dips every afternoon at 4:30 Breakfasts were also excellent We loved room 6 great patio

Beautiful place. Nice room. Unfortunately for us, there was a construction project going on next door. Started early and lasted all day. I know this is an unusual situation, but definately annoying.

We loved our stay at the Lavender Inn. Our room was exceptionally appointed with comfortable furnishings, private outdoor jacuzzi tub, gas fireplace (which we needed) and outstanding location in the heart of Yountville, one block from Bouchon and the French Laundry restaurants. The roses in the garden were in full bloom--a real treat for the eye and […] nose. The Victorian charm was oozing as we enjoyed the wicker chairs on the front porch while sipping on complimentary wine and devouring a wide array of appetizers. The next morning Rose Marie made us feel right at home during our delicious hot breakfast of a delicate homemade strata, fresh muffins and fruit. The service this hotel provides extended well after our stay when we received a phone call about a left behind golf shirt. I wish our stay was longer than one night. We loved our room and the Inn, and wish we stayed another night to take more advantage of the place. Super charming place, in a great location inYountville. We'll definitely stay there again.

This was a wonderful stay, in the upstairs room of the main house. The room was large with a gas fireplace , sitting room and jetted bathtub. The afternoon horsdourves and delicious breakfast served the following morning, were a real treat, as was the big, comfy bed. We've already made our reservations for next year. Friendly and attentive staff.
