VICTORIAS MANSION - 多倫多

Was "stuck" finding a hotel room in Toronto because of a massive convention. Scrambled to even get this inn style room at the last minute (thanks Hotel.com!). The owners/management were very good to me (late night check in/early morning check out) and even found my wedding ring I left behind on the counter. EVerything was ok. Nothing spectacular and nothing stood out particularly.

There was no one at the reception when I checked in and checked out. I checked out around 8am on Monday morning.

I would rather bring a tent than to stay here... When I arrived I could of course not get in, because they only let people in at a certain time of the day. After traveling all night I was really looking forward to a nice shower and breakfast, did not happen... When I came back in the afternoon for check-in I asked the staff some basic questions about […] how to get around in the city. I was referred to the brochures near the reception... Not very helpful. I was then given the room with a window next to the main entrance, therefore I had to close the curtains at all times... Not very cosy. I didn't actually bother to stay that night, and decided to leave in the evening. This place is way too expensive, I was definitively expecting something a lot better! This is definitively a nice house, but not for having guests expecting to come to a hotel. The service and standards were horrible, find yourself another place to stay! 詳情

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I found it very clean and comfortable and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. It was also close to the gay village, which was perfect because the purpose of my visit was gay pride. I would definitely stay here again the next time I am in Toronto.

We loved the location and quietness of the neighbourhood. 2 corner stores and 2 coffee/eating establishments just around the corner. We felt comfortable walking back to the Inn even at 1:30 a.m The bed gave us a wonderful rested sleep every night, with 2 generous pillows each. The location and ambiance are very nice. The check-in procedure was interesting, as I had to call a number, then they gave me a code to the door, and upon opening the door, I found my keys in a box. This was the late check-in procedure, which at that time, was after 7:00pm. (This was in Nov 2010). My room was strangely shaped, with a very small bed. […] I think the size is twin, although it seemed smaller than that. Several of the rooms that I could see that I did not stay in were extremely nice. the room was very warm and I couldn't figure out how to regulate the temperature. To be fair, I never asked, mostly because, I was never in during their office hours. The shower was hugemungus, I think I could have put the bed in the shower in it's entirety. Overall, I found my stay there enjoyable, but it could have been easily improved. 詳情

really nice little guest inn, very clean rooms, nice people around, quiet neighborhood, rooms have microwave and refrigerator, but for two people I think my double bed bedroom was too small. I was there by myself, so that was ok, but with two people and two pieces of luggage it would have been way to tiny.

We were not expecting much from the hotel and that is what we got. There was a little language barrier with the person at the front desk, if you could call it that. It was more like a B&B than a chain hotel. The room was pleasant and we had an awesome balcony which we shared with the next room. It was great to sit up out of sight and people watch. We […] could walk to our favourite peking duck restaurant, the Dynasty ,then we took a cab to the hockey game. Lovely place. The old house has a lot of character and atmosphere. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was helpful. This hotel is more like a B&B in nature (but without the meal). Be aware that the neighbourhood is in the heart of Toronto's gay village, which may or may not add to the atmosphere for you.

The room was excellent (nice furniture and storage space), and the bathroom was was very clean. We also loved that the front door was so secure. There is a code for the outside door, then a key for the inner door, and then a room key. I doubt anyone would be able to get in unless they were a guest. Parking behind the building was tight (we had a big […] SUV) but convenient. The bed was very comfortable, we both had one of the best sleeps in a long time. 詳情

Very nice location, very friendly neighbourhood and close to W. subway station. Cutest garden in front of the hotel; hotel entrance a bit dated but rooms' space well used. Bathrooms completely renovated which is super! A brilliant find - and I hope that despite this good feedback I'll still find room there next time I want to stay ;-)

Kom skemmtilega á óvart, ég átti ekki von á miklu en fékk allt sem ég þurfti, heimilislegt og hreinlegt lítið hótel með góðu starfsfólki. Og það spillti ekki fyrir að hafa fjölbreitt og skemmtilegt mannlíf í næsta nágrenni við hótelið ég mun ekki hika við að nota þetta hótel aftur þegar ég heimsæki Toronto aftur.

Le seul vrai problème est l'absence d'une présence dans l'hôtel, le personnel est néanmoins disponible par téléphone.

ホテルというより、マンスリーやウェークリーで借りるマンションみたいな感じです。スタッフはとても気さくに話してくれます。マンションの場所はトロントDTのメインストリートからも近く、駅からも5~7分ほど歩きますが十分便利です。すぐ隣のストリートがゲイストリートだったんですが、当方は特に気にならず、夜もうるさくなくって快適でした。 お部屋は小さい部屋にシンブルベッドとトイレとシャワー室なんですが、冷蔵庫や電子レンジやコップ、カトラリーも常備されて、マンション内にランドリーもあるので、そんなところからも長く滞在する人向けかと思います。

Ich habe als Alleinreisende 2 Nächte in dem Hotel verbracht. Die Lage ist wirklich nicht zu beanstanden, mitten in Downtown Toronto, um die Ecke der Yonge St. mit zahlreichen kleinen Läden, Cafés und Bars. Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Nebenstraße und sieht von außen sehr nett aus. Mein Zimmer lag allerdings im Souterrain/ Keller und war entsprechend […] dunkel und auch sehr eng, so dass man sich nicht wirklich länger als notwendig dort aufhalten wollte. Die Ausstattung war extrem einfach, aber sauber. Um in den Keller zu kommen, musste man an den EG-Zimmern vorbei, aus denen es extrem nach Rauch gestunken hat, der manchmal auch bis in den Keller gezogen ist. In einigen Reiseführern stand das Hotel noch als B&B, aber das Breakfast wurde wohl irgendwann abgeschafft... Insgesamt kann ich das Hotel also leider nicht empfehlen. 詳情

I would not stay here again since some of their rooms are in the basement level and there is nothing to do here. This is just inn and cannot be called hotel. I would choose other hotels nearby which is 20% more expensive compared to this place. However, the room itself was very clean.
